I'm not quite sure how you can have such bad reviews and a BBB rating of A+. BBB is a fraud anyway, I know good companies they give D and F ratings to that our great. Anyway, as far as HOM goes they sell 'HOM Guard'. I purchased it for a new raise to stand desk for an extra $100 and 3 years of coverage. A few months in the desk motor broke, it no longer goes up or down and this is with professional installation and very light use. No pets, and it is next to an air filter. Here is the fine print on the warranty: General Obligation of Service Provider HOM Guard Plus will provide all the services and functional parts that may be necessary to maintain proper operation of the product under normal operation and service for the item(s) covered under this program for the duration of the service contract. The in-home service portion of the warranty is only valid within a 75-mile radius of any HOM Furniture store. Customers who request service beyond coverage area will be responsible for transportation to and from the nearest HOM Furniture location. This agreement does not supersede the manufacturer’s warranty. HOM customer service told me they won't honor this agreement, and it has been less than a year! You know it is bad when your own WORDS you spent years trying to screw customers over with aren't honored. Incredibly shady business. Breach of contract. I have a signature from your sales representative agree to these terms you refuse to abide by.
