      I had a fence installed on my property by Capital Fence at the end of March 2023. There are problems with the installation of some areas of the fence. Despite having a 1 year workmanship warranty, Capital fence first dismissed, then ignored my concerns. Now they have refused to address them.The main issue is that the front of the fence and the gate were installed too high and there is a significant gap. The gate is also slightly crooked and recently has been giving trouble opening from the outside. The majority of the fence, except 2 other areas where there is also a large gap, is about 1 inch or less from the ground. On the day of installation, I expressed my concerns to the installation team lead. He said I should not worry since my dog is big and would not be able to get out the yard. When I continued to question he then said that this was necessary to allow water to drain out of the yard when it rains. Incredulous, I reached out to the sales representative and reminded him that the reason for the fence was to keep the dogs in and the foxes that frequent my neighborhood, and other critters out of my yard. These are not achieved by the gaps under the fence. A small dog, and other things can easily get under. Rather than address my concerns he made excuses. First I was told that, according to the installation team lead, the gate and front of the fence were installed that way. At the sales reps request I sent images and a video of the problems to Capital Fence but got no response for some weeks. I recently received an email from him and he is now saying that the fence was installed within their speciations and he hoped I was enjoying the fence.I am very disappointed in Capital Fences response. The fact of the matter is that there was variability in the workmanship and the team was inconsistent in installing the fence. I am asking that they honor their own warranty and address the problems but they refused. What, then, is the value of their warranty?
