    On 8/26/2025 A&A was scheduled to trim a portion of our tree overhanging my neighbors house and parking area. When my neighbor arrived home she realized they were not trimming those areas but instead removing all of the branches from in front of my house, in my front yard. The branches were cut in areas they should not have been and some of them were ripped off . Additionally the tree is now lopsided. I did not enter into or invite them into my yard to do so. They did not complete the work that they signed a contract to complete with my neighbor. In an admission of the mistake they called me and offered me a free feralization of the tree. I have requested that they pay for us to have the tree trimmed properly and they are not responding. They have threatened to send me a bill for the mistaken work they did instead. They are completely ignoring our requests and unwilling to have a conversation about what happened. I have sent them a quote from another tree company asking them to reimburse us the money for the trimming.

    The claims in this complaint from the Pinder family are not correct. The Pinders and their neighbors share a duplex, and it was their neighbors who hired A&A Tree Experts to cut the tree in the front yard back from the house. As part of that work, we only removed the branches that were physically touching the roof. Trees in contact with buildings can cause damage and are also more likely to develop disease, so trimming them back is the standard practice. Our arborists are certified, follow Maryland pruning standards, and we have photos showing the tree was left in good condition after the work was done.
    At no point did we say the Pinders would be charged for anything. Our office manager and owner apologized to **** and ****** ****** several times for any confusion about the work, and we even offered a free fertilization service as a courtesy. Unfortunately, our conversations with **** quickly turned hostile and vulgar, so we chose to end communication to protect our staff from further abuse.
    This matter has been resolved with the actual customer who hired us, and all contracted work was completed as agreed. Were happy to share a copy of the signed contract and photos of the tree if needed.
