Licensing information

This business is in an industry that may require professional licensing, bonding or registration. BBB encourages you to check with the appropriate agency to be certain any requirements are currently being met.

  • On 1/31/2011 BBB requested Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) licensing information from Mr. Barkey. Subsequently BBB was told that by Mr. Barkey that he is not required to hold an MHIC license for installing overhead garage doors. Installation of residential overhead garage doors does require an MHIC license through the MD Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. BBB encourages consumers to check a company's licensing before doing business with them and also encourages them to report licensing issues to BBB and MHIC.
