Fraud and negligence. Dishonest and cruel. Upon another plumbers inspection, found duct tape covering cracks. They left me with water and gas leaks. Crew hid the problem and failed to provide the services that were billed. I have paid for several tune *** I have come to find were not completed. The owner refused to inspect his crews work to find the source of the leak when on site. When talking to his wife she explained because he doesnt like the furnace I have. Others reviews about laziness and lack of follow up is spot on, and to top it off, he put my life at risk. Once I realized the damage he caused he is avoiding all efforts at communication. I am not the first that he has treated like this. Check out all the 1-Star reviews on ****** and Yelp!

Today I had my trusted plumber, ****, come by to inspect my boiler because Prendergast was unable to "find the leak". Not only was he able to find the leak immediately upon removing the cover, but he found that ***'s crew had put tape on a hole where the leak was coming from, and there was a carbon monoxide leak coming from another hole. **** explained that if Prendergast had been actually servicing the boiler all these years they would have drained and cleaned the condensate reservoir and known to replace the cracked piece. Instead they did not clean it, and taped up the hole. They also used a silicone that is not suited to high heat to seal up other areas. **** asked how often I had it serviced and I said that *** had told me every two years is all that is needed. **** said yearly maintenance is required and it takes a minimum of two hours to do the job properly. I can now confirm that Predergast never fully serviced the unit and in fact caused damage to the machine, and left me with gas leaks for years. Now *** is no where to be found and his negligence not only put my life at risk, but I am facing the possibility of needing to buy a new boiler due to his neglect.
