This guys is a complete hack. My timing chain went and I asked him multiple times if he could handle it because I knew it was a hard job. He said he has done it hundreds of times and would be fine. I asked him to inform me of any additional repairs and ask permission before proceeding. After 3 weeks I got it back when it was only supposed to be a week and he claimed the alternator by chance failed even though it worked before he touched my car. He replaced it charging extra $400 without my permission or showing me the failed part when asked. Separate from the extra $400 for the alternator his final **** was significantly higher than the quoted price. A week later the timing chain that he just installed broke...I took it to the dealer after he said he wouldn't fix it for free. They said broken bolts were everywhere on my engine and he left them in and snapped off. He made a comment about almost having to change out my AC compressor but getting it to work when I picked up the vehicle...a year later I now know what he meant. He snapped off two out of 3 of the bolts going into the engine, didn't drill and tap them like he should've to repair it properly but felt fine giving me the vehicle back to get it out the door. After the timing chain repair failed I found out from my brother in law that he had the same experience a few years earlier, called him a hack as well.
