      ButcherBox is HORRIBLE!They delivered my order to the wrong address and ignored my delivery instructions! Every time l ordered, the meat was left unattended and by the time l received it, it was thawing or , sometimes, COMPLETELY THAWED! I contacted customer service twice about it and they treated me with absolute disregard and even argued and sneered at me! They offered a mere 50% off A NEW SHIPMENT after they left my box in the building parcel room and it was 100% thawed! I will never order from Butcherbox again! They absolutely have no respect for customers!

      This is our interaction with Butcher Box Customer Service.This was our first order with Butcher Box and we heard your products were good, so we were excited to get our first order. However, we didn't even get a chance to try the product before a second box arrived less than 6 days after the first. Which we did not order!Stated billing being changed, This needs to be look into and let us know what happened.Courtesy notifications, we thought those were regarding first shipment. We had received an email stating our shipment was delayed due to shortage. We got our shipment. Then within less than 3 days received the first courtesy email. We looked on the website, at that time, and according to the website our next box was due to arrive in November which was concurrent with our agreement of every two months. The website still shows the next shipment to arrive in November, so what changed? The first time we call customer service, was rude and lacking etiquette, admittedly my wife got upset with him and I took over the call trying to diffuse the situation. After talking with him, I asked to speak to a manager as he was rude..When I asked for a manager, we were told one would contact us. Instead we received an email, not a call. We expected a manager to call us, talk and listen to our concerns and then make a decision based on mutual respect. Needless to say we cancelled our subscription now! When cancelling, the customer service agent we spoke to was very nice, showed empathy and understood our situation. He tried keep our business however could not because of the notes put in our account. He had great customer service and respect for customers. Great representative of the company!All this, is all moot issue at this point. However, I am CC'ing and BCC'ing a copy of this email to the corporate office and executives in hopes that our experience and how it was handled is helpful to the company's quality assurance in regards to customer service.

      I have used Butcher Box in the past but stopped for a few years. I just starting reordering from them. The quality of their poultry and meats are excellent. Everything in the order was frozen solid I have had orders from another on line company and the packaging was not nearly as nice as Butcher Box. All the packaging from Butcher Box is biodegradable unlike other companies. I highly recommend ordering from them. Also I now get free steaks for a year and they are the perfect size

      I ordered my first box, I received at exactly the day they said it would be there. Everything was beautifully packaged and frozen solid. I love butcherbox! I will never go back to store bought meat ever again. The meat that butcherbox has is delicious, the texture is wonderful. The sweet Italian sausage is outstanding, when I ate the sausage it didn't hurt my stomach like store bought sausages. Love this company.

      Had a great experience until receiving a box that gave two of us food poisoning on two separate occasions- both times with packages of beef from the same delivery. Delivery was still frozen when I received it and it went promptly into my freezer and was then cooked from frozen. We both noticed a weird taste to the meat and threw out the rest of our steaks but I suspect the entire shipment was mishandled somewhere along the way before shipment OR the meat was simply not good & shouldve been caught before packaging. *** cancelled my membership and was offered a replacement box (no thank you) or a credit (again, not going to buy from them again) but have instead asked for a refund and have yet to hear back 4 business days later. This exchange began two weeks ago. It took several requests to get the package dates/items in that delivery since I had a previous delivery still in my freezer and wanted to sort and toss the rest of the recent delivery. Perhaps leaving my experience here will expedite their response so we can move on from a very painful week of food poisoning.

      Dumped my box on my neighbors step in the 90 degrees heat. Broken dry ice and open meat on the side walk. No response from customer service for a wk. They refunded $22. For one package. The $150 box was bad.

      I purchased a large quantity of Butcher Box meat from a Butcher Box truck a few weeks ago. I am very disappointed in the quality of the meat. Its horrible. The steaks are so tough, theyre simply not edible. And the hamburger is so fatty we cant grill it because it starts fires on the grill. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Truly, very poor quality meat.

      I have recently moved and as someone who has a large family it was a busy time and I forgot to change my address. We moved to a different state. I didnt realize that I forgot until I got the shipping email. I immediately contacted *** to try and stop it or reroute it or send it back. They said only the sender can do that. I contacted butcher box and they tell me to get a neighbor to get it otherwise they cant help me. Also, I was informed that there is no way to get a refund because the product is bad. All they had to do was stop the delivery. It was still in the same town as the origin. I wouldnt even care about the refund if they would have stopped the shipment and sent it to my address. So now the box is going to be delivered to an empty house and Im out close to $300.

      Everytime I've had an issue, customer service responded immediately and took care of it. Two times my meat came thawed due to weather related delivery problems. Both times they sent another box immediately. I've enjoyed all the products I've tried from them as well.
