I want Forest Air, LLC held accountable for a service they did not complete. On November 24, 2021, Forest Air LLC came to my home to fix a heating problem. They determined it was a heat strip that was burned out. They replaced it and a thermostat. Before they left I told them it didnt seem like the heat was coming through the vents, but both of them said they could feel the heat. For the next week and a half I called and texted about the problem. They finally came back and said they had the thermostat set to gas instead of electric. The heat still wasnt working, but they left without fixing the problem. I kept calling and texting but they never returned to check out the problem. So I called several other A/C companies who said Forest Air LLC should stand behind their work and follow up. They said it had to be the heat strip that they installed. I told this to Forest Air LLC, but they wanted to charge me to replace the whole unit in the attic. So I called another A/C repairman who came out and determined that the problem was the heat strip that Forest Air had installed. He replaced it and I got heat immediately. Forest Air LLC did refund me for the heat strip.. i want them to refund the $350 I paid for labor also because I had to pay another company to come do the work that Forest Air LLC failed to do. I had to endure the cold, frustration and aggravation for three weeks or more. I think they saw a senior citizen and decided to take advantage by doing a sloppy and unprofessional job. They didnt care about what they were putting me through nor about the fact I was living on a fixed income.
