  I paid a deposit which I was told would be used to order my stair lift from the distributor, ******. Then, I never heard from anyone again. I emailed, called and texted the man I had been dealing with and the office. I found the name of the owner of this company by looking at the BBB site, and I texted and called the owner too. Nothing. I called the distributor, ******, and they had no order from this company or anyone associated with them. They also got no response when they tried to contact the names and numbers that they had on file.Fortunately, my credit card company credited my account after I filed a dispute of the charge. Today, over 2 weeks after making my deposit, I got a text from the owner. He said he would refund the deposit. I told him he would need to refund the credit card company, but Im pretty sure he knows that.

  I purchased a chairlift from Stairlifts of Louisiana in May, 2022 and was told there would be no problem with maintenance for the chairlift. In April, 2025 the chairlift stopped. I started to call their office weekly leaving voice messages with no response. When someone answered I was always told they were short staffed. As time went on, I called 2-3 times each week and finally on week 4 the first ********** arrived. He looked at chair then replaced two batteries in box on the stairs and left while batteries charged but never came back. I called the office and the same ********** came back on week 5. Again, he looked at chair then called tech support. He left to get equipment needed. He returned to set in his truck for 1 1/2 hours waiting for tech support to call. Finally, he called to say that someone else would be back the next day. The second ********** came as mentioned and determined that chair batteries needed replaced and would return to replace. He came back on week 6 replacing batteries and chair functioning. So, all together it took Stairlifts of Louisiana SIX WEEKS to replace 4 batteries. Therefore, I WOULD NOT recommend this business for their level of maintenance in care of stairlifts they were quick to install. In the mean time, I struggled to climb stairs for SIX WEEKS with my balance issues which put me at risk for falls/injuries.
