I became a member of this fitness club in the building I have my office in (Heritage Plaza). I decided to not use the facility until the Covid pandemic was over but kept paying .... that is fine. I then decided to start using the facility in the spring of last year and discovered I no longer had an account with it. I had also lost my membership card as my wallet was stolen so when I went to the facility they could not find my account. I had also replaced my credit cards when my wallet was stolen and all reoccuring charges were cancelled, including this one, unless I approved them. I recently discovered they were charging my **************** card again. I went on line to try to log in and again discovered I did not have an account. I visited in person and they told me the same thing. I finally got through to their billing **** and she informed me that they had changed systems and sent me an email (which I never received) to make a new account. They sent nothing in the mail either. I assumed that given their online login kept telling me I did not have an account and I was told that in person that my account had been canceled for some reason. I am pretty disappointed that I am now out $600+ and was repeatedly told I did not have an account and could not use the facility either. Being charged for a service that is not rendered is in my opinion fraud. The lady on the phone of course blamed it all on me.
