Sahene Construction was hired to perform repairs to my home from Hurricane Ida. After several weeks of waiting for work to begin/looking at exposed walls and not even receiving as much as one quote from Sahene, I proceeded with moving forward with getting my home back to normal while continuing to be patient with Sahene Construction. A employee with Sahene called after several weeks to move forward with replacing my kitchen backsplash, countertops, and cabinet modifications. The turnover time was promised to be 2 weeks with 50% of the cabinets and countertops to be paid up front ($3,545.52) and paid to Assured Flooring and Countertops. Sahene shortly deposited the check, but never paid Assured. After 3 weeks with no clear plan to perform the work, I notified Sahene of termination and requested a refund. Sahene agreed to refund the money if I signed a "termination agreement" which was like a non-disclosure agreement. The agreement stated upon signing the document I couldn't write online reviews, negative referrals, or BBB reviews. I sent a refusal to sign the document in writing and requested my refund within 7 business days on December 3, 2021. I still have not received my refund!
