My original quote was given to me on 04/28/2022 which states this is a declining maple tree on the quote. The company was backed up so they did not come out to begin the job until 06/13/2022. Which in the mean time there was several storms and bad weather so by this time several large branches had fell off the tree. When they scheduled the service call i told them that branches had fell off the tree and we had to cut them up and move them so we could cut the grass. She stated she would let them know to get them. They did not get it. So i reach back out to them and she reach out to the lead on the job and he said he seen them but did not get them because it was not on the ticket. So she said she would schedule someone to come back out. As of 08/03/2022 those branches are still in my yard. Because the owner left me a voice mail threating to put a lien on the property and i took her word they would take care of it, i paid the invoice. I paid to have the whole tree removed from my property and they only remove a partial tree. Had they performed the job closer to the date of the original invoice 04/28/2022 those branches would have been attached to the tree. They were aware of this being a declining tree in which branches was fallen from the tree in the 1st place. That is why i need the tree removed because the tree was falling apart. I spoke to a couple of people about getting the remainder of the tree removed with no resolve, just a broken promise to complete the job.

      Business Response

      Date: 08/08/2022

First, let me start by apologizing for your experience.  Dissatisfied customers are something we work hard to avoid.  If you read our other reviews, you will see that our communication and service are the things we pride ourselves on, and the reasons our dedicated customers use us time and again.  Please, let me address your concerns.

LTS came out at the end of April to look at your tree situation.  You told us the maple was in decline and had been for some time.  After looking at the tree and giving you a price that worked for the removal, you approved the quote almost three weeks later in the middle of May.  One June 13, we came and removed the tree.  In the world of tree care, most professional companies are anywhere from 4-12 weeks out. As stated above, the tree had been in decline for several years so you could have had it removed way before Spring of 2022.

As to the limbs left, when you called our office, you stated that the maple tree had lost limbs.  We asked that you leave them near the tree and the crew would get them.  When the crew came for the removal, the limbs on the ground were piled a good distance away on top of piles of mulberry limbs and other debris in the court where you live. This other debris was growing over from your neighbor’s property.  We had not quoted to remove a mulberry. All the crew saw was a large pile of tree debris from prior work or storms so they did not take the limbs.  If there are maple limbs in your yard, we would be happy to take them, as that was the original job.

As to filing a lien on your house, that is a last resort for people who do not pay for many months.  You were professional enough to pay your bill on time and we appreciate that.  I am not certain who threatened to put a lien on your house, but I will investigate that here.

If you would like to discuss this matter more, we look forward to the opportunity to mend the relationship.  Please, reach out to us directly and we will work to find solutions together.
