      I bought a bunker bed couple weeks ago but unfortunately came with 2 broken wooden pieces. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me they dont have the replacement parts. I asked them for the refund. They told me to contact wherever I bought the item,I contacted walmart but since the item was almost fully setup, they didnt have option to pick up and return the item. The costomer service at hillsdale was so unhelpful.

      We advised the consumer that we did not have the parts in stock to resolve his issue in a timely manner.  We then referred the consumer back to place of purchase to make an exchange or obtain a refund.  No financial transaction was made with Hillsdale Furniture therefore a refund cannot be made.

      I am rejecting this response because I don't understand how a manufacturer doesn't have a piece of wood and that why they say on their packaging that don't return your item to store and call us first if they can't help with a simple thing like this

      Our packaging does indicate that you contact us first to see if there is another resolution before returning the product.  In this instance, we did not have the parts needed in stock.  We do not send "a piece of wood" to correct any damages and it has to be the correct part.  Since this piece is out of stock, the factory needs to send it to us and we would not receive in a timely manner and consumer would lose their ability to return or exchange.  Our factory is not located in the United States and is located in Asia.  Due to the time it would take to receive the necessary parts, we referred the consumer to exchange or return the defective product.  We also do not recommend continued assembly or use of any product with a defective piece.  To receive a full refund, the consumer would need to return to place of purchase.

      I purchased this from ***** ***** They told me to co tact the manufacturer. I purchased this as a daybed for nursery. I was nursing my infant middle of night and the bed broke. The matress fell down and I am lucky therr was a trundle with comforters underneath of i and my infant could have gotten SERULIOUSLY hurt. I called the company and they said they will look I to it. I paid almost 900 dollars for this bed. I don't have the money to replace and need a refund as I do not trust this bed to sit or lay on with my baby. It is poorly made. Based on the tone and dismissal of the hillsdale furniture rep I don't feel this will be taken care of. The part that broke was NOT a piece I put together.

      I ordered a 6 drawer dresser and it was sent with NO hardware to assemble it. I called ************ and was told to submit a parts request in writing online which I did and was successful in doing so and it generated a ticket number.

      To date I've received No hardware nor a acknowledgement from the company regarding my requested part's package.

      The dresser remains unassembled in my garage lacking any parts what so ever.

      I'd like my complete parts package send ASAP so I can finish the unit. They've dragged feet long enough on this. They took my money quick enough to be sure but I'm extremely dissatisfied with the customer service on lack of attention in expediting my parts shipment.

      Please help.

      I received a bed that was kisisng parta and incomplete. I requested a replacement part and thye refuse to ship a replacement part or refund. They offered a 10 dollar refund. They continually tell me to contact ******* when they specifically sent instructions that said to contact them for missing or defective workmanship. They will not work with me in any way.
