    The BBB recently received information regarding a check scam involving a company doing business under a similar name to this company. Consumers state that they have received a check in the amount of $4485.00 from a company by the name of Vascor Marketing, Ltd., inviting them to become a mystery shopper. The check is not valid. The address on the letter consumers receive reflects the same address as Vascor Ltd but the phone number is from Canada. Consumers should not attempt to cash or deposit the check because it is counterfeit and it would be returned from the bank leaving the consumer responsible for repayment of the check. Officials from Vascor LTD are aware of the scam and are investigating to find the source.
