    Odometer rollback the vehicle was sold with less miles more price. Vehicle got totaled out found out the original mouse was ******* versus ****** at the time of purchase.

    Hello, this vehicle was sold to us through a large auction and we received a valid- actual mileage title and we transferred the same title as such.  It appears while the vehicle was in the customer's possession the mileage was rolled back from ***** miles.  When the vehicle was stolen from the customer (our assumption) is that someone may have changed the dash or something because the vehicle ended up in the auction at ***** miles but we sold it with ****** miles. A not actual title was issued by the insurance company because the vehicle went from ****** miles to ***** miles after the theft occurred.  At the time we transferred title, the title in our possession was actual mileage and the title issued by the state of illinois was actual mileage. 

    We hope this clarifies any information we can provide from what we have looked into. If any documents are needed, we will have to pull the physical file. Please let us know.

    I got this car Feb 15th 2025 my car stop working and start malfunctioning misfiring every light on the dash since February 28 I havent had my car for 30 days before It started happening. My car been in the shop ever since February 28 2025. I have not drove my car since February 28 2025 car been in and out the shop since. May 27. It was in the shop for almost 2 months with ****** dealership because no other mechanic knew what was going on capital motors even told me the car been in a flood in ******* before I feel like they rushed me out the store because it was closing so they just gave me any car and told me it was working fine and it was fixed. I literally just paid May 27 $2281 just so it could turn around and do the same exact thing it did February 28 of 2025. I haven't enjoyed my car havent drove my car since February 28th capital motors said they cant help me exchange my car for something different or refund me they not even trying work with me, they keep hanging up in my face and sometimes they dont answer. I would like a refund or a different car thats workable.

    Hello,

    This vehicle was purchased in February, it was purchased as-is.  The vehicle has a third party warranty- any repair requests have to go through this third party.

    Also, it is untrue that Capital Motors said this vehicle was in a flood. That is not true. I have attached the carfax.

    They are lying and sold me a lemon, they are charging my 4500 for proper working car. They did tell me the car was in a flood before. They rushed me out the store like I said my car went out on me 28th day of me having

    I recently financed a vehicle from this company, the employees are rude and inconsiderate. Their behavior regarding mechanical issues is unacceptable, the vehicle in question is a 2019 ***** Impala. It had mechanical issues when I originally received the vehicle, they begrudgingly proceeded to explain they would fix it because of the warranty.Ive called countless times and the salesperson **** ignores my phone calls when I call about fixing my vehicle.I financed the vehicle in November, Ive had three mechanical problems since then.Check engine lights, intake leaks, and today 01/25/2025 I went outside to start the vehicle and it wouldnt come on, wouldnt start, or anything.I called and got no help, this is a terrible business that sells lemons to unsuspecting customers. And will give you the run around.

    We received this complaint from Mr. ***** *****. I believe Mr. ***** is confused as to his warranty provider. The vehicle was purchased/sold as-is from the dealership. Mr. ***** purchased a warranty through a third party. We have attached Mr. ******* third party warranty and the buyers guide to this. 

    I think that may have been where all the confusion is. Mr. ***** should be contacting his warranty provider rather than the dealer.

    In Feb 2024 I purchased a car from this company with a ***** down payment 380 Carnote every month. I was promised a running working car, however, the car has been in the shop since purchasing it for major issues. At the moment, the car has been in the shop about a month concurrently, for the engine to be replaced. However the warranty company sent over a bad engine so I wont be having it back today as I thought I would. The ** does not work and the heat turns on HIGH randomly and will not turn off. The buttons on the radio are touch based and do not work majority of the time to control the heat. The radio also does not work and was supposed to be fixed after purchase but theres been repeated issues with getting it to work. Per the car shop, the radio, amplifier has been replaced repeatedly to figure out the issue to no avail. Capital Motors have advised me to either trade the car in once the work is completed by the warranty or have it considered a repo through my bank and buy another car. Seeing how I only bought this car in February and my credit is horrible theres no way to trade this car in. On top of that, having a repo on my credit because of someone selling me a lemon does not sit well with me either. *** cried many tears over this and see no solution that I can make happen that wont have me crying more.

    ************** claims the warranty provider sent a bad engine... This would be a complaint that may or may not be directed towards the warranty provider. We are not the warranty provider nor the mechanics. We do not have any information regarding her repairs or any issues she experienced during her repairs.

    The vehicle was sold AS-IS from the dealership months ago and the third party warranty provider would be responsible for any repairs or issues regarding repairs.

    I purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200 S on 7/28/23 I paid a down payment of $5000 for a vehicle with ****** miles I was told I had bumper to bumper warranty if anything should occur well 7 months later on 2/5/2024 my vehicle Stopped working making a extremely loud knocking noise. No lights or anything have turned on in the car at the point. The next day 7/6/24 i got it towed to midas ****************** ****** **. Where somebody told me my vehicle had a extreme oil leak and that I had no oil in the vehicle. I am up to date on oil changes so im confused how this was missed. I did a claim with the warranty company and my claim was denied the total work needed done is $5550 . They are refusing to do anything and telling me to either pay or take a lose ******* had the car for 7 months and it doesnt even work anymore it has a total of ****** miles on it I would like to get some help with this

    Majestic ****** purchased the vehicle July 28, 2023 with ****** miles.  This vehicle was purchased AS-IS from the dealership and a third party warranty contract.  The consumer purchased the third party warranty contract as part of her loan agreement. 

    The vehicle was driven ****** miles.  The vehicle experienced mechanical failure. **************** sent out an inspector that claimed that the mechanical failure was due to negligence on the part of the purchaser. 


    We are not the warranty contract administrator or warranty company. Our vehicle was sold ****** miles and 6-7 months ago, and it was sold as-is.

    Vehicle is not a salvage title as customer has stated in her complaint.

    I bought a 2017 Chrysler 300c from them June 9th 2023. About a week or two later I went to a ***** dealership to see how much it was to fix the adaptive cruise control and they scanned my car and it was in three accidents and had 32 stored codes that it look like they tired to hide it. A month or so later one day i tired to start the car and it didnt come on its something electrical that they didnt fixed i checked all the normal stuff to check like the battery, alternator, starter they all came back good when i tested them. I went up there and told them about it they acted surprised, was saying its nun they can do and i gotta wait six months to trade for something else. I just wanna give it back to them and have no effect on my credit.

    I financed the car on January 8, 2022. I gave the dealer ***** to put down on the car. I was promised that the 2017 ************** was in great condition. In January the week of the 24th through the 28th, my car completely locked up due to engine problems so I had to get the car towed back to the dealership. The dealer informed me that it was something minor wrong with vehicle and I was told I should have my car back within a few days. I waited a week on a call back for my results. I decided to call them back instead. Thats when I was told I needed a new engine and they was waiting on a response from my warranty. I told the dealer that I wasnt happy with the results that I received and I asked can I trade that car for a car that has equal to lower value. The dealer told me he had already sent out the contract for my car and that it will be a process if I wanted to trade cars. He insisted that my car will be taken care of and I will have my car back within a few days. I waited another week. I called them back once again to check on the status of my car. They never kept in contact with me on what was going on with my vehicle. This time I was told by the dealer that my warranty didnt cover my engine and he had to pay out of pocket for a new engine. I asked how long is the process and I was told once again my car would be ready within a few days. I waited another week until I finally got a call from capital motors mechanic saying my car was ready. Ten months goes by and my engine light comes on. I had to make a appointment and drop the car off on the 14th of December to capital motors mechanic to check the engine. I got a call on the 14th saying I needed a new engine and the mechanic was waiting on my warranty to respond back to the claim. On the 16th I received a call from the mechanic saying the claim was denied by warranty due to lubrication oil in the engine.

    Consumer's warranty is with ****** ***, not Capital Motors Auto Credit.  From speaking with the mechanic, it appears the consumer was driving with no oil in the vehicle and caused engine failure. The consumer had the vehicle for almost a year and drove over ****** miles since purchasing this used vehicle.   

    ****** *** is the third party warranty company and ****** *** is now refusing to cover the engine repair due to consumer's neglect. 

     

    If documentation is needed regarding ****** ***'s position, we can request it directly from ****** ***.  However, the vehicle was sold AS-IS from Capital Motors Auto Credit and further, the sale was completed approximately a year ago.

    I purchased a car from them 10/12/22 the same day rattling noise soon as i got on the eway the airbag light came on the sales man told me its ok keep driving. Airbags save u so i guess if inwouldve got in a car accident inwouldve died and they didnt care. The next day car kept jerkin on me i tried go im reverse it wouldnt stop almost got in accident with my son in car. They told me hring car back. They wouldnt givr me my down payment back but then said they would givr me half back ive been waiting 2 weeks on my money bak and they still havent returned it wont answer calls text ir anything told my uncle i will have it by monday its Friday i still dint have it this is a inconvience im out of a car and you all took my money also. I dont know what to do at this point the sales man must have knew it would he rhis way because the day he told me i would get half my refund he stated out his mouth dont leave any bad reviwes well atleast until u cash your check because we dont want them put a stop payment on it. This whole experience has messed me up. And they have no care or remorse for the situation i was sold a car that i complained about not even a hour and half after driving. I teest drive on the street but by the time i drove a hour home on the eway the car was a complete wreck
