This is the second time my dogs have been groomed by her company. She and her staff are extremely rude and as of today they are also liars. I have been willing to put up with their rudeness, but now that I've been lied to I'm leaving the longest review I can. She first groomed my dogs a couple months ago. I have a Shetland Sheepdog with arthritis and he has difficulty standing for long periods of time so he is difficult to groom. I found Bonnie through ****** and called to check prices. She said his price would start at $75. When I tried to find out how high the price could go up from there, she became irritated and said," Well, I don't know, Honey, I can't figure that out until I see the dog!" So, the price can go up indefinitely? I have to drive my dog all the way across town to find out I'll have to pay $20, $30, $40 more? Shouldn't there be parameters? I needed him groomed, so I went. When I got there, she agreed to groom him for $75 and he came out looking well. I had my Shit-Tzu mix groomed by her also and that went well. I made a follow up appointment for both of them on Christmas Eve. The day before Christmas Eve I called because I realized my 8 am appointment was going to conflict with my night shift work schedule. I asked the groomer if it was possible to move the appointment to a later time. She handed the phone to Bonnie who very aggressively told me that they would not do that because that would put her behind and, oh wait! There were actually TWO different groomers working on my dogs, so I would be responsible for putting TWO groomers behind on Christmas Eve. I'm not a dog groomer and I don't know the schedule of a dog groomer or what a dog groomer's day looks like on Christmas Eve. If I'd known that I was putting someone out, I wouldn't have asked. It would have been so simple to tell me, sorry, we can't do that because we close at X time and we're completely booked. But she proceeded to basically accuse me and act like I had no respect for their time and said, "we won't do that, no ma'am!" I cancelled the appointment. Because every other place was booked out, I called her back a couple days later and rescheduled the appointment for a day that wouldn't conflict with my work schedule. They were very specific about the dogs coming in at 8 am because my Sheltie is time consuming. I said that was fine. I dropped them off at 8 am that morning and the groomer said it wouldn't take long. I am used to not receiving a phone call from a groomer for up to four hours so no big deal, except that the groomer said it wouldn't take long. So at 11 am I called and she very rudely said, "They're not done. I said I would call you. They're not done yet." After this, I decided I would not use them anymore because I'm tired of being talked to like...well, like a dog. But I didn't intend to leave a review until I never received another phone call from them. Because I work night shift, I fell asleep with my phone sitting right by my head. I woke up at 2 pm, checked my phone and there were NO missed calls. I called and talked to Bonnie who said, oh, the groomer tried to call you. The dogs are done. At that point my dogs had been there for six hours. I drove over there and was greeted with a smile (because they become a lot more friendly in person, and when they're about to get paid.) I said I wanted my dogs and I wanted to know why no one had called me. Bonnie said they had, I said they had not and tried to show her my phone. The girl I had spoken to on the phone was there and I repeated the exact rude thing she said to me over the phone. Bonnie said, oh, well maybe we called the wrong number. If they called the wrong number, they most likely would have known. I do not believe they attempted to call me at all. I paid them and said we would not be doing this again. Bonnie chose this time to start acting professionally and began to be sappy and apologetic and said, I'm sorry, Honey. It's just that we're very busy and we have to have the dogs here early to get them done. When did I ever say I had a problem getting the dogs there early?? She continued to act as though I was just an overwrought person who misunderstood their intentions, but there's no misunderstanding. They're rude, passive aggressive, and they're also liars. She purposefully twisted the situation to make it look like they were simply too busy to even speak decently to a customer or to make a simple phone call. Yet when I walked in the building, she was sitting at the counter chatting away with someone. I could handle the rudeness for a while, but I won't tolerate being lied to. After this, I discovered she has a 2.5 out of 5 yelp review. Every single negative review was for similar reasons - extreme rudeness and what seems to be a sense of control dogs that they do not own. It is clearly a common problem with her and her staff.
