      This was a really bad experience. They measured my mother wrong and gave her an interim loaner that they billed as her permanent wheelchair. It did not have any foot rests. When I called, I had to call multiple times to get someone to help me and kept getting the run around. They sent someone out to get her measurements again and they measured wrong again. When they delivered the final wheelchair, it was too short like it was for a child, they did not adjust it for her and it was very uncomfortable for her. This is the worst company. I would never do business with them again! I hate that they got paid by ******** for this.

      I have had a terrible experience with this company.. They simply do not care about their customers. In the past 10 months, my chair has broke a total of 4 times. This is a lot considering that this is supposed to be a brand new chair, and the industry standard, as I was told by their assistive technology professional. I chose at the recommendation of the assisted technology professional A Q6 edge HD pride, quantum. I am a big guy. and needed a heavy duty chair. My doctor told me that I need to offset pressure. about every hour for 30 seconds. And in doing so, the tilt mechanism broke a lot. The last time my chair broke was in February. And we have medical did not provide me a suitable loaner chair to use. while they have processed fixing my main chair So I was bedridden. For more than 30 days as a result. of that, I caught pneumonia and other respiratory is***s They could have been avoided if they only provided me a power wheelchair as a loner instead of a manual wheelchair that had no support for my particular disability. This company should be put out of business. if you want your loved ones to have the best don't go to this company. the way that they treat their patients, borders on abuse.       My son has special needs and required a gait trainer to help support his early walking. Rehab Medical came out to take his measurements, and then we heard nothing from them. I assumed it was because they were making his device, but this was another reminder that you should never just assume. They took his measurements for the trainer in October, and my sons pediatrician didnt receive the paperwork to sign off on the device (the FIRST step in the process) until December, when I reached out to Rehab Medical directly for a progress check. They responded and said that they faxed the paperwork to my sons pediatrician and they hadnt responded. His pediatricians office has provided nothing but amazing care for my son since the day after he was born, so I knew something was off. My sons pediatrician provided me with a copy of when they received and responded to the request, in December. There was nothing sent to them after the October fitting, only in December when I was requesting an update. My son didnt receive his trainer until January, long after he started walking. At this point, its too late for it to truly help my son. Rehab Medical did my son a horrible disservice, and they did absolutely nothing to take ownership of the huge ball that they dropped. My two year olds progress was affected because of this company and their inefficiency to do their job, and I cannot get that time back for my son. I wish that I could give a negative star rating.

      My mother received a custom manual wheelchair from rehab medical. An ATP came out did measurements and they delivered the chair. My mom was having back issues and went to physical therapy. The PT found that the arm rests were too high, her feet couldnt touch the floor, back rest not suitable for her.I contacted rehab medical and an ATP came out he changed the back rests, arm rests, lowered the seat and changed the wheels. The foot rests do not work now since the seat was lowered. He told me to just live with the chair as is. We are still not happy with the back rest.The ATP informed me that humana does not have the company in their network anymore. I called rehab medical and they told me to find a "family business" to fix the chair since they will not support the chair anymore. I called some places and they are all telling me to take the chair back to rehab medical.This company does not care about disabled people and customer satisfaction.

      STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!! I am paralyzed from the waist down and in need of a new wheelchair. One of my doctors suggested I try Rehab Medical! That has been one of the greatest mistakes I ever made. Purchased a wheelchair from Rehab Medical. They sent a tech out to get the measurements for the chair that I would be using. An order was placed, and it took almost a month before the chair was delivered. When the chair finally came in, it needed to be adjusted 2 on each side because it was rubbing. The same guy who took the initial measurements came back out to do the measurements again and realized that I was given incorrect size. They delivered a 16 instead of 19 wheelchair. I informed him that all I needed was for the chair to be adjusted so that I could use it. He told me he could not do that. Instead of adjusting, they picked the chair back up and told me I would have back in 2 days. 2 weeks later, I still have no chair. I called the sales rep that was to be the point of contact and he told me that he had to have someone form the corporate office to call me to better explain what was going on. Why are you a face-to-face representative with customers and you are unable to explain in detail what is going on? Someone finally called back and told me; they are unable to get me a new chair because I am now out of network with their company because my insurance is now different. I asked for the chair back that I already paid for, and they told me they couldnt do that either because the insurance changed. So now I without a wheelchair and having to start from scratch with trying to find another DME company. Thanks for NOTHING Rehab Medical.

      Rehab Medical sold me a used power chair and said it was brand new. It has broken down every week and they refuse to work on it anymore. Parts are not made for it anymore. It was repaired over 20 times in 6 months. Hunk of junk.

      Rehab Medical, *** should be under investigation by the ****************** due to ******** and Medicate fraud, as well as the endangerment of life and safety to it's clients. In January of 2023, I received a sorry chair from this company looked good but a piece of garbage. I told the tech that delivered that chair it was not going to work for **** had to back down my hall way almost falling down the stairs do to the fact that the chair would not turn into any of my rooms nor allow me to safely get to my bathroom. 10 times techs have put this information in laptops and said someone will get back with me. I reached out to the sales person that came to my house he would not answer after several calls and messages ,3 weeks of waiting i called the company. They sent another tech out whom didn't understand what they wanted him to do he wrote that the chair did not fit. I showed him where the leg pads were to hard for my skin and the arm rest was also not safe. They sent chair parts but not an answer to what I was to do about the chair not working or being safe for me. This has been my story for almost 12 months as well as the Joy stick malfunction, the hydraulic not working after being repaired. I fell out of the chair because my foot slipped due to it's being to high for me and I have to use foot rest to push myself into it (no inti slip wheels),(was embarrassed and humiliated ) when fire department had to come get me off floor. Thank God my sister was at home or I would be dead laying face down and struggling to breathe. I asked them again to replace the chair only to be told that my window for this to happen was pass because i had the chair for a year. When I reminded ******* of her mistake of time, my year will be on the 20th she came back and and said I only had 5 days after receiving the chair.. These People and this company are from a very dark place. I Pray that they Repent for all the wrong they have done against people that trusted them before its to late.

      Thanks for bringing this review to our attention. The customer has been advised that she has the correct chair that was prescribed by her physician and approved by her insurance based on medical necessity. A smaller chair would be a danger to the customer. We have been out to make adjustments. Customer also called ***************** period.

      Recently purchased a power wheelchair from Rehab Medical. We were told it was custom made for my wife, but this was a lie. We received a standard Merits P325 ****************** Chair. We paid $3684 for the chair. I found the same chair online for $3000. We were also told that ******** had paid 70% of the cost which would make the price $12280. We never received an invoice. I was overwhelmed on what to do and waited 4 months before contacting Rehab Medical. My wife used the chair once for about 15 minutes so it is still brand new. All we wanted to do was return the chair and get our money back. Rehab medical did not allow us to return the chair. Consequently were out the money and stuck with a chair my wife can not use. I will be filing a complaint with the ******* Attorney General, if ******** was charged as Rehab Medical claimed they were overcharged.

      Approximately 4.5 months ago my Dr sent over to Rehab Medical an order for a manual wheelchair. After weeks of promises and failures to communicate and the sales person ********, failing to call, text or follow thru with promises and NO wheelchair, I spoke to Regional Director ***************************** and received assurances that while ******** failed, he would take care of it. ******** failed to contact my doctor ******* lost paperwork twice and advised me to cancel my Doctor ordered physical therapy and use THEIR physical therapists. After weeks of waiting and NO response, i went back to my Dr and bought my own chair. The group at Rehab Medical has horrible customer service skills, the corporate structure is set up to keep customers from contacting customer service . PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not use them. Read reviews on here. Very much like USED CAR SALESMEN IN THE OLD DAYS !!!!!!!!!
