      Went to the Evansville location on Burkhart for first time today ( 4/6/2024). Paid $27 for a wash on a week old vehicle. Checked the car after going through, only to find that the front grill and windshield were still dirty. Spoke to a very nice young lady who was manning the purchase kiosk. She apologized and granted us a second wash for free. As we were waiting in line, someone who appeared to be a manager, came to our window trying to upsell us. We explained the situation. He never once apologized, but instead made excuses and tried to pass the blame onto us, implying we had somehow let the car dirt build up. This was a car that was a week old and had hardly been driven, much less been out of the garage. He then spoke to the young lady, who then moved away from the kiosk and he punched in the wash. While he was still there, I motioned her over and thanked her for her professionalism and handed her a cash tip, making sure he heard me thanking her. I hope she didn't get into any serious trouble over her handling things. I also hope, the mgr. instead, rethinks his lack of professionalism. Maybe he needs to be retrained. We'll never go back there. Even after a Second trip through this car wash, the grill was still filthy and whole sections of the rest window were completely missed. Don't waste your money.

      Bought a membership and cancelled it a few months later. I noticed that they charged me again after I had cancelled it, and after further review I saw they were charging me twice each month for one membership. I immediately contacted them and we went back and forth with the information they needed to help me with a refund. After a month of going back and forth on email, the supervisor, Noah, then stated sorry, it has now been more than 29 days and we can't give you a refund. I called them directly and spoke with customer service, who would not let me talk to the manager and proceeded to tell me the same thing and then hung up on me while I was talking to her. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!! They will scam you!

      This company is a scam. They make it almost impossible to cancel a membership. I spent over two hours today trying to get 5 memberships cancelled for my business. That was after spending almost an hour yesterday with 4 workers at the car wash facility. The website does not recognize any of the membership numbers and when you call the customer service line it takes forever to get through. The customer service team likes to remind you that you cannot get a refund. This left me with wasting over 2 hours of my time to get my account straightened out.

      Do not sign up for any monthly membership plan at Shine On, period! I purchased the five dollar special going on in May since it was cheaper than paying $8. I was not told about the recurring billing at the time but new it would happen as I had a plan before. The attendant there did not mention this and this is the reason one day before my month was over I stopped by the West Side location to cancel it. The gentleman did some things on his computer and told me it was cancelled.
      I contacted the same location and was told they could not cancel memberships themselves but call the customer service number given me. No where have I seen at this location that it is posted to cancel call this number. In fact, employees at this location have been instructed not to give this number out at the time of purchase if wanting to cancel in the future.
      I called the number given me and I was treated as if I was trying to cheat them out of $13. I explained to the representative and then her supervisor what had happened and she then informed me I should have read the terms and conditions of a membership. No phone number was listed to call. I asked her how many customers know the terms and conditions or the phone number to call. It was like talking to a brick wall. I explained to her I was in a hurry and it was difficult to read the info with the bright sun. She said there would be no refunds given.
      I informed her that I can easily get my vehicles washed at Royal Car Wash and First Avenue instead of coming back over a $ 13 refund. So much for taking care of their loyal customers and the total money they will lose over $13. Just to let everyone know, these two car washes were sold to Mammoth Holdings in ******** GA last year and is not locally owned. Spend your money locally.
      I actually talked to customer service at Mammoth Holdings and was told they were sorry for what happened but they could not issue a refund. I wasnt interested in a refund. They need to know how their two car washes are being managed in town. They had their core values listed and two of them were violated by the two representatives in their local customer service dept.
      Spend your money locally and not send it to ******* where they do not care if their customers are treated right or not.
