    On April 29th, 2023, my fiance and I went to Urgent Rent-A-Car to rent a car to drive to Memphis due to a show I was needed for on April 30th. We put $100 cash down as a deposit for a car rental, they gave us a receipt, and we left. As we left, my stepson informed us that he had already rented a car through another car rental company, and we could cancel this one that we had made through Urgent Rent-A-Car. I immediately called back to Urgent and told them I wanted to cancel. They said that corporate would have to issue the refund, and it would take about 2 weeks. After 2 weeks and no refund, I called again, and they informed me that the appointment had not even been canceled and that's why I hadn't received a refund. He said he would cancel right then and there and it would be an additional 2 weeks until I received my refund. About two more weeks later, we called on 6/8/23, and we were informed that corporate wouldn't issue a refund, but that they would give us a credit for a future rental. However, I do not want another rental from this establishment. When I had rented the car originally, I had asked about what would happen if we didn't need the car. He said that we could cancel and get our money back. However, that hasn't happened and I would like my full refund.

    5/10/23 I went to Urgent Rentals to rent a vehicle. I paid $670 for 4 days. The vehicle they gave me had several issues. The steering wheel was loose, the vehicle started putting and wouldn't go until I pressed harder on the gas, and I had also an issue with it going into reverse. I took the vehicle back immediately. I didn't have time to wait for another vehicle so I asked for my money back. They told me in order to get my money back I would have to contact corporate, or they would have to contact ****** who the combination to the safe. I called corporate but wasn't able to get through to anyone. I followed up with Urgent Rentals and was told they have also not received a response email from corporate when they sent an email about the issue.

    I rented a car, two hrs later, they came and took the car back (it was running in my driveway, while I ran inside real quick) and they kept my belongings that were in the car (a brand new phone 14 worth $1000, my wallet with $800 in it, my jacket worth $150, new curtains, hardware I'd just bought. They will not return my belongings.

    February 17th 2023 my mother an law an I went to urgent rent a car because my mother in law wanted a car she gave the general manger 400 dollars of her money an sign the paper so he goes to the computer an says actually you owe 410 but he will only make her pay half an now needs another 210 to rent the car she says she don’t have can she have her money back he said no he can’t give her back her money then he said he will work with her she then ask can she go from a week to a couple days then he told her no we agree to a week an that’s what it’s going to be then he gets to saying we are banned an he had a can a mace in his hands an my purse was on the counter I was trying to grab my purse he gets in my face an he pepper spray us put the video on Facebook under urgent rental repo tv an then call my phone twice to harass me from his personal cell phone saying thanks for the 400 dollars

    This consumer rented a  Charger for 2 weeks for $500.00. The business doesn't take credit cards, and the consumer was requested to pay via *******. The consumer did not have *******, so she paid cash, and waited for the car. She got a text message stating there was a blue car out front with the keys in the ignition for the consumer. The consumer noted that the car had a busted windshield, no cover on the gas cap, no gas in the car and cigarette burns in the interior. The consumer questioned the delivery driver on the state of the car and was told not to worry about it, because it runs. Later that evening the business came and took the vehicle back.
