1 starI can't begin to explain how terrible our experience has been. The team they sent did not shim the windows, so they are not square or level, and they catch when you try to slide them open. A sliding window in my child's bedroom is inexplicably missing a screen, which is obviously a safety hazard, and it also means we can't open it without letting bugs in. The crew smeared caulk everywhere, even blocking some drainage holes. The windows were installed like "innies" (not even Feldco employees can explain why they did this) -- so now we have virtually no interior windowsills and can't rehang our blinds. I have never installed exterior window capping, but I am confident I could get rip-roaring drunk, put on a blindfold, and still do better work than this crew. They cut the segments in jagged lines that do not line up at the corners. They tried to cover up incorrectly measured sections by smearing caulk over gaps where segments should line up, but don't. Finishing nails were haphazardly hammered into the capping so hard it is warped in several places.It has been 7+ months and after countless emails, phone calls, visits, & assurances from Feldco reps that they will make it right, they have done absolutely nothing. They haven't even brought the screen we are missing. We are lucky to get email responses within a month or two, if at all. As if that wasn't insulting enough, Feldco hired a lawyer to file a mechanic's lien against our house to try and force us to pay the rest of our contract before they fix their own mistakes. Fortunately my husband and I are both attorneys, but if this is how they treat us, imagine how they will treat you. 1 starHad 17 windows replaced back in august and they did in in about 9 hrs. Seemed fine until winter we had draft coming through 15 of the 17 windows took pictures of the ice forming ************, inside of the glass and edge of windows sent them to Feldco with our bill from Nov. being over $200 more than usual then our bill for Dec was almost $500 over what we had ever had and our power usage 800 more than the previous yr they sent techs out the week of Xmas and found there was no insulation around any of the windows so they took the trim off and used expansion foam on 10 of the windows, said the other 7 would have to be done by the installers but they were on brk for 2 weeks for the holidays. So they got back from break they came and did 6 hrs of work to fix the 7 windows the techs couldn't but this still did not fix the issue. So they had to come back again after I showed video of air still blowing through with a feather and said they would reset 4 of the windows and that should resolve the issue I told them that if it fixed them 4 windows then I wanted them to do the same to the 3 windows in the kitchen that I was concerned about gaps I pointed out to the manager that was here. When they came and reset the 4 windows (another 2 1/2 hrs) they found one of the windows were missing pieces and there was a gap large enough to almost put a pen in on each side of the window where the two window meet. After resetting the 4 windows and replacing the missing pieces it made a huge improvement but we still had air coming in through the 3 kitchen windows took more video and sent it the the new GM Devonte that I had been directed to because ****** the old GM moved on. I showed in the video once again the air blowing the feather and told ****** we wanted these windows fixed like the others and to be compensated for our increased power bill over the winter. ******* said to to all because there was there was minimal air. We have contacted ***** Fargo (loan from) and stopped payment.Feldco Windows, Siding & Doors

1 starWe have had continually issues with our window from this company. The window is pulling back on the interior from the frame on all four corners, and we have moisture forming on the inside of the window. Im not asking for anything but the window to be fixed and installed properly for what we paid and I kept getting meet with charges. 1 starThey did a great job for our first set of windows. Chose them again for the rest of our windows based on our first experience. This turned out to be a very , very big mistake. Over a year I have been fighting with them and trying to get properly fitting and operating windows. I waa accused of just wanting my money back. I told them I didn't, I only want what I ordered. They denied for a long time there were issues. They sent person after person out with different stories all the time. They made it sound like I am just a complainer wanting money back. I had drafty and bad working windows, new ones ordered some of them worse than what I first had. I have had so many appointments I had to schedule with little result. I asked for some kind of compensation. They had initially sent me something but it was for the wrong person. My name on envelope with a gift card with a note about a storm door. I gave it back , never heard about it anymore even though the tech has said they were gonna issue something to me. It just does not stop wrongly ordered replacements, installer no Info on what goes where. New ordered had wider gaps than the previous ones. Installer was very nice, very knowledgeable and polite. I feel bad for the people working there who have to deal directly with the customers who get bad quality windows delivered. It is very unfortunate my first experience wasn't by ******* by my second. 4 starsIt was a long time waiting for my storm door to be installed. But when it was, ***** was a wonderful installer - efficient, polite, and explained how all the features worked. The Salesman, ************************* was excellent to work with! I highly recommend him. He always followed up with me, kept a check on the process & made sure I was happy to have made the purchase. He returned my messages in a very timely manner, even when out of the office. He is a real asset to the company. The final product is both esthetic & practical. I already received complements on it the same day it was installed!Feldco Windows, Siding & Doors
