    April 27, 2024, ***** **** from FiveFold Sound was hired by BikerFest Mke for a 12'x24'x2' stage for our flagship event BikerFest Block Party on Saturday, May 25, 2024. The agreed upon price for the stage rental was $1575.00. A deposit of $787.50 (half the total amount) was sent to ***** **** on May 14, 2024. The balance of $787.50 was to be paid prior to the event day of the event on Friday, May 24, 2024. During the event ***** requested the payment several times and stated that he had not received the balance of $787.50. We maid yet another payment to ***** on the spot. After checking with our accounts Department, we realized that ***** had been paid a total of $2,362.50. He agreed via text and email to correct the issue. It took several weeks to get a response. He stated that he did not have the funds to pay it back right away and asked if we could allow him to do the next event free of charge to compensate for not paying back our funds. I explained that we are a non-profit organization and that was not going to work as our next event would not take place until May of 2025. I asked if he could pay in installments which he did agree to do. To date, ***** **** has not made any payments towards the balance of $787.50. I have reached out to Mr. **** several times in the last 56 months but to no avail. He simply does not want to refund our money for services he did not render. This is a terrible thing to do to a non profit organization that is working to help our communities. We would like for Mr. **** to correct this issue by providing us a refund for the $787.50 immediately.
