      I hired *** because I dont have a lot of time for DIY or Honey Do projects around the house anymore, I thought they could save me some time, keep in mind that Im proficient in electrical, plumbing, tile and drywall. I paid $590 for a 4 hour block of time. The serviceman was late a half hour and gone for an hour and a half, to get things he would need (we live 10 minutes tops from ************ This was a bathroom ventilation fan that needed to be installed. The tech screwed the fan in too close to a pipe so that the flexible hose that vents out to the roof had very limited air flow. I had to cut out more drywall on the ceiling so I could move the vent over, this way itll have proper air flow. Also, the flex hose that vents out to the roof was held into position with two screws. This had fallen off and was laying on the attic floor the next morning. The work was not only incomplete, it was installed incorrectly. I had to go back and finish his job as well as correct his errors. Im not asking for much but I do want the job done right in a reasonable amount of time. Taking this much time to do a simple installation is just way too much, especially when I had already taken the old fan out.

However, I did look into the matter and learned that the time we were away was to get equipment needed to perform a task we were not prepared for after being redirected from the task we expected to perform. You should not have been charged for that. We have issued credit for the amount you have demanded.
