They changed their price without telling me. Then they adjusted it because I caught them doing this without telling me. Then they cancelled my next appointment and did not inform me so I wasted my time. They gave my time to someone else because I refused to pay hundreds of dollars 2 months in advance to hold my appointment! That wasnt the policy when I began my treatment with them. I thought the doctor was a dermatology. She her practice and her website are flawlessly advertising because she doesnt want people to know she is NOT a medical doctor. Then I discovered she is a podiatrist not a dermatologist. After kicking in me out of the practice as a patient she failed to give me 30 days of emergency care. Then had the nerve to send me a text message with a promotion to buy her services for Black Friday AFTER already dismissing me from her practice via text message. I wasted so much money on Laser hair removal for the last year with her and the treatments did not even work and now she wont let me come back to continue them because I wouldnt spend hundreds of dollars in advance to hold my appointment time Im also concerned that the treatments constantly left marks on my skin and she claimed she had no idea what they were but I am a doctor and I can tell you those were burn marks and she doesnt know what shes doing. She also did not sign in foreign consent form with me for this treatment.

    Business Response

I'm sorry you feel this way. As a business owner, I always try to do whatever I can to make our client's experience exceptional. However, from the beginning, this client gave us a hard time. She came in on a promotion for Laser Hair removal full body for $350. That promotion would obviously be 1 session, we have offered this to many clients and not one client thought this was for multiple sessions. This particular client argued with me that she didn't know this was only for one session and that was misrepresented to her. Against my better judgement, I agreed to keep her on as a client. She then booked directly with our aesthetician. She was given a protocol to shave the day before and she would  consistently come to sessions not fully shaved and our esthetician would have to shave her. Obviously, in more sensitive areas if the area is just shaved, it may be more painful and your results might differ. When one is coming for a full body session, they are taking 1 1/2-2 hours of time. It is common practice to collect a deposit to secure your spot and not have a last minute cancellation. This client refused to pay the deposit. We told her we could not book her appointment without a deposit. She said she would call and pay it later but she never did. Her claim that we gave her appointment away is false since we didn't make one to begin with. Her claim that I am not a physician is false. I never claimed to be a dermatologist, I am a physician and my background is podiatry and podiatric surgery. I have never misrepresented myself and furthermore my aesthetician is doing the treatment not me. Additionally, she thinks these are medical services. Yes we are a medical spa but she is getting laser hair removal, not medical services. We don't have to offer emergency care, send notes to her or whatever other ridiculous demands she has. As a business, I can change my pricing whenever I want. If you don't want to pay for it, then you can go somewhere else for your services. We have a stellar record with hundreds of 5 star reviews but some clients are impossible to work with.

    Warm regards,
    Dr. Parikh
