      I came to Ulta excited for a fresh balayage and left in tears with severely damaged hair. What was supposed to be a joyful transformation turned into a nightmare. The stylist bleached my hair using her fingers during the first application calling it the ponytail technique. When the manager said it wasnt light enough, she instructed the stylist to rebleach it. The stylist followed orders and began a second round this time using a brush and a completely different technique. I asked beforehand if my hair could handle it, and she assured me it could. It couldnt.They didnt have the toner for the color I requested before starting the service. I had to search TikTok myself to find an alternative. The toner failed my hair turned out orange, yellow, and patchy. It was clear they werent prepared or trained to handle this service properly. I stopped the service after she blow-dried half my hair because I was on the verge of crying. I paid and left, heartbroken. I never raised my voice. I asked questions calmly and tried to trust the process, but I was treated like a guinea pig by someone who lacked the experience to bleach hair safely. To make matters worse, two days after I posted a ****** review, it was deleted. I had to repost it after Ultas customer service failed to address the issue or offer any resolution. This felt like an attempt to silence my experience rather than take accountability. Since then, Ive had to spend $140 out of pocket for emergency hair treatments, a haircut that cost me six inches of length, and a new hair dye to mask the damage. Im now facing another $160 expense at a different salon just to begin correcting what Ulta did to my ******* one should have to go through this. Ulta, do better. I will not be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same pain. I want a refund and a plan on how ya'll will resolve the damage done to my confidence and hair.

      I previously worked as a Prestige Manager in ******* and have over two years of experience with Ulta. When I interviewed recently, I had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. Once the interview began with ******, she didnt greet me or make eye contact she read questions off a sheet of paper without any genuine interaction. It felt that she was unprepared for the interview. I left feeling like my presence was an inconvenience.I have more than 10 years of experience in customer service and sales, as well as leadership experience as a Property Manager overseeing teams and residents, so believe I know how an interview needs to be handled. After the interview, I reviewed several online comments mentioning discrimination, and unfortunately, I now understand why. The moment ****** noticed my Brazilian accent, her demeanor changed I was treated differently. She was asking me questions looking at the paper not even looking at my eyes. I felt more prepared than her for the interview. I asked a lot questions bc I was genuinely interested in the position and every question I was answered with dismissive attitude. Given my qualifications, professionalism, and experience, I strongly believe I was not selected due to bias. I never received a follow-up call or the reason for not being select since not only Im available to fill the weekends and tasks hours , and now, on January 2, 2025, I see they reposted on Instagram the role. Its deeply disappointing to feel overlooked because of my Latin background or accent. This experience has completely changed how I view the company, and I no longer feel comfortable shopping there. Not only Ulta lost an amazing sales and costumer person but also a client, at least at this location. Very disappointing.

      Ripped me off! Promised a deluxe diamond gift if i spent ****** i spent 200 and got a few pieces of trash instead of my four free gifts. I get a hold of customer service they say oh all your free gifts are on the way! They never shipped anything and now they are completely ignoring me. I have spent almost ******* just this year from January to june. I stopped shopping in June because they never send the right stuff and when they do its damaged. I just wanted to shop for my birthday and they ruined it. Im never shopping with them again me my friends and family are going to ******* and ******. Dont buy ulta online.

      I ordered a titanium xl curling iron and it came with a compact thermal styling brush. I never received it and when I contacted customer service they said because I didn't add it to the cart I wouldn't receive it. I asked customer service if it said on the site I had to add it to my order and they never responded. I checked and it doesn't say this. Totally deceptive.

      I ordered several items on 10/20/25. They "shipped" on 10/21/25. After the first estimated delivery date passed, the tracking still showed that the carrier was awaiting pickup. So I contacted Ulta. They told me I had to wait 8 business days before they can do anything, but someone will reach out then. They could not confirm whether or not the package actually shipped (???) so we just had to wait to see. On the eighth day, tracking hasn't changed and the package hasn't arrived so I message them. They ignore me.Then I get a call from an apartment building I lived in 5 years ago. The package was delivered there. I checked my order info and the confirmation email and confirmed that was NOT the address I gave them for this order. So I drive across town to get the order and when I open the order, the milky toner has leaked on everything else. Do not order from this company online. Their customer service isn't helpful and they don't know how to pack ************ "Reddit Ulta Shipping" before ordering anything and believe the mountain of complaints regarding them.

      I returned an online order because it didnt arrive in time. The tracking number was thrown away, but the label that was where the order was put on the outside of the return box. I have called and emailed numerous times and received a runaround. No one will help me and its very frustrating. This is a $200 order and I have spent so much money over the years at Ulta to get crappy service like this. No one will help me and no one seems to care. When I called customer service no one seems to understand me and they hang up on me.

      I ordered some items during a 20% sale on October 7th. Ulta chooses to use the worst carrier, LaserShip. This carrier does not deliver packages once it reaches its final sort facility. This was a $300 order. I reached out to customer service and each time they make me wait several days before they will offer a solution. After waiting, they reship and use the same carrier who wont deliver. Reaching out to customer service again, and they are running me in circles regarding additional wait times and essentially are not willing to offer me any other solutions at this point. So, now I have to continue to wait for items I ordered over a month ago and have already paid for. This is really disappointing customer service from **********************, especially considering how much I have spent with them over the years.

      I used my Ulta card for the first time in the ****************** store on 10/10/25. There had to have been a credit card skimmer in the credit card machine because the very next day, someone used that card in *******, **. Then, I had two more different credit cards opened in my name and used in *******, **.

      I went to return two items (total amount was $45.22). The receipt said within 60 days of return I could get a full refund. They tell me there's a new policy of 30 days. Said I had to get a store credit. If it's a new policy after my purchase, they should honor what the receipt says. Some **** poor excuse "the system wouldn't allow a refund since it was over 30 days", **** POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If there system wouldn't honor the refund then they should have given me cash back. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ULTA AGAIN!!! There are other places to get what I need and even less expensive than ULTA. I will also be plastering this same issue on all social media platforms. NEVER EVER AGIN WILL I SPEND ONE CENT AT ULTA!!!!
