Figo pet insurance (underwritten by Independent American Insurance Company, a Delaware Insurance ****************************** **************************************) We were convinced by their sales team, to purchase full insurance 2 policies. One for regular annual exams and vaccines and one for surgical procedures their 'Preferred Policy". We have been paying $298.19 MONTHLY, on time since January 2022 . Annual Coverage is $10,000.Thus far we have been reimbursed a mere $135.00. There is always a reason they cannot pay more than a third of the bill for the separate Wellness Policy. We literally now have 23 pdf insurance plan documents explaining the insurance. We have been sent 11 emails with VCA documents beginning on May 8 through June 25th. The customer service person changes almost every email stating they have not received the adobe pdf documents with the SOAP notes, which have been repeatedly sent. The lag time is absurd and out dog is worse. This is inhumane. Period.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

I would give less than one star if I could. This company is totally deceptive and never told me exams w ere not included in the policy. ****** took my money and then didn't. Over anything. On top of that they had an infant answering the phone robfieks quwariona. She had no power to make any changes or do anything to help the situation.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

This company is horrible, deceptive, and non-responsive. It takes forever to hear from their team, and sometimes they dont answer at all. (Dont even bother trying to text their text line, Ive never gotten a reply there.) They do not actually want to help you, and instead will do everything they can to tell you that whatever youre filing for is a pre-existing condition. They tried to tell me my dog had a condition that he literally was never diagnosed with and when I asked them to show me where it says this in his paperwork, they didnt. Run in the other direction from this shady company and its careless staff. I really regret ever wasting money (for multiple years) on a company that treats its customers this way, and preys on the love we have for our pets for their own greed.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

Wasnt transparent about what was covered and wouldnt respond to my emails to cancel. I tried to call and cancel but they said I need to Email, but they wouldnt respond.so I had to spend $30 just to block them from Charging me again. Stay far away. I got it through ****** and thought Id be protected. Sadly mistaken.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

DO NOT BOTHER! I bought in. Had a policy that had a $500 deductible and 70% reimbursement. What a lie. On a $1,000 vet emergency, not due to preexisting condition, they reimbursed $100.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

Dont waste your time. Lack of transparency in pricing which will increase 30% every year unless you reduce your coverage. Impossible to get any claim approved even when extremely valid - using denial reasons like preexisting conditions when they do not apply and are not related. RUN! Run of the puppy mill PHYSCOPATHIC insurance company. They smile as they take your money and make you jump through hoops of abuse.Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been far from satisfactory. Despite my initial enthusiasm and hope, they have proven to be unreliable and untrustworthy as an insurance provider. Here's a rundown of the issues I've encountered:1. After filing a claim, it was closed without explanation, leaving me waiting for payment for 14 days.2. Upon contacting them, I was kept on hold for 27 minutes only to be told they needed more information, which they allegedly already communicated to my vet. However, my vet confirmed they received no such notification.3. When I followed up with ****, I was informed their app was down and that they would now process the claim.4. Despite their assurances, I was then bombarded with paperwork and additional tasks for my vet.5. After more back-and-forth, I received a claim closed email with a broken link and no information in ******** app.6. Upon calling again, I was told my plan didn't cover the incident because it fell outside a 14-day grace ****** for illnesses, even though it was an injury, not an illness. They then cited a bizarre 6-month grace ****** for skeletal injuries, leaving me baffled and frustrated.I had signed up for their highest-tiered plan at $57 a month for my beloved rescue Chihuahua, only to be met with disappointment and a sense of being *******. This experience has left me questioning the legitimacy of their services and I am requesting, at the very least, a refund of my initial premium payment.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

Like most insurance companies, Figo is also a ****. Youll feel good going into an emergency with your 8 month old puppy after having coverage since you brought him home and they still wont cover any incident. Save your money.Figo Pet Insurance, LLC

The nice thing is that premiums are low.. but that's about it. They asked me to submit an orthopedic knee waiver that could retroactively apply to a claim, and are now dragging their heels. It's been a month, i've called multiple times and it's stuck in the approval process. If you want quick, easy claims, don't go with Figo. 1 star**************** Scammers and fraudsters, We bought the higher policy and never late on payment. We filed a claim close to 2K and they denied it all for a time limit that was not disclosed when we purchased the policy. We are canceling our Figo policy and going back to Healthy Paws. Not only is their app not even named Figo. Their app is impossible to use, they ask a lot of questions that have to be typed instead of just taking a snapshot of the invoice and they process it in a few days. They claim to be proud to be able to help pet parents but really the only thing they are proud of is the thieving they are getting away with. THIS IS A SCAM, FALSE ADVERTISING, AND CRIMINAL.
