    Contracted with Midland Van Lines, for a move from Liberty Township, Ohio to St. Louis, Missouri. Midland Van Lines website states they have BBB accreditation, but I was unable to find it on the BBB website when I wanted to post a complaint. I was quoted a cost of $4225. A down payment was required, $1146.40 by check. I was told the movers would arrive on July 30th, between 8am and noon. I called at noon and was told by a 'dispatcher' from Backup Movers that they couldn't make it and would be there the next day, July 31 between 10am and 2pm. I called the dispatcher at 2pm. She stated they were delayed, and they would move me on August 1, between 7am and 11am. I called the dispatcher, and she stated the movers were one hour away. The movers arrived, took photos of what was to be moved and forwarded the pics to the dispatcher. I was called and told the required cubic space needed would increase the cost to $8793. I disputed the price, and we talked without a favorable outcome in my opinion. I declined their services. A manager called from their company without resolution. I believe there was a "bait and switch." I was told that my deposit was non-refundable.
