On January 15, 2018 a review of consumer complaints filed with the BBB of Chicago and Northern Illinois against the company delineates a pattern of consumer allegations.
In their complaints, consumers allege they sent a shipment of diabetic testing strips to the business for promise of payment to be made within 24hrs, business failed to provide payment after shipment was received, consumers also mention after sometime has passed they contacted the business in regards to the status of receiving payment which remain to go unanswered.
As of 8/30/2018, BBB reviewed all complaints, and it appears the pattern is continuing. We have alerted the company to our concerns, but we have not heard back from the company regarding the pattern of consumer allegations. The BBB will continue to monitor complaints, but advises any consumer to be aware of this business and the pattern of consumer allegations
On 9/17/2018, the company responded with this plan to address consumer concerns:
Regarding (A): Complaints of not fulfilling 24 Hour payment policy
Actions Taken:
- Removed any advertising on Google Adwords/Website of 24 Hour Payment Policy.
- Sent email blast out to past/current customers informing them of change in policy.
Regarding (B) Complaints of Delay in Payment/Nonpayment.
Actions Taken:
- There was two reasons for this, but the ultimate reason was debt encumbrance. We have restructured our debt from our 2 biggest debt obligations to free up additional cash which will allow us to get caught up on customer payments, while keep current customers, current.
- We are also in the middle of changing prices on the products that we purchase which will also help us increase profit and pay past due balances of customers.
- We have also hired a Customer Service Rep to directly address BBB complaints and 1 additional staff member to field increased phone calls.
We (CashNowOffer.com) believe that the above changes will eliminate the above 2 issues.
As of 9/21/18, BBB has requested a revised plan of action from Cashnowoffer that asks them to address their "24 hour turnaround" policy and use of bonuses to attract customers. In addition, we have requested a more detailed plan describing how customers will receive payment for medical supplies delivered to Cashnowoffer. As of 10/17/18 we have failed to receive a reply regarding the above mentioned consumer concerns.
The BBB will continue to monitor complaints, but advises any consumer to be aware of this business and the pattern of consumer allegations.
