      Horrible claim experience. My accident happened 10/20/22. My car was taken to a lot to get it off the highway. State Farm said it would be picked up the next morning. It sat at that lot for almost a week. I get it moved to one body shop. A virtual inspection was done and an estimate was created. But this shop wasn’t comfortable with all the repairs so I had the car sent to ******** to do the work. The car sat at the first shop for a little under a week. I called almost everyday getting a new excuse everyday. The car was finally picked up, only to sit at ******** since 11/2. I started calling daily to get updates and to figure out what needs to happen. One rep had me set up a new in person estimator last Friday 11/4. It is now Friday one week later. I have called everyday to confirm that this appointment would happen and also requested to be notified when in route so I can come along. Only to find out today (a week later) that the process was setup wrong and there will be NO ESTIMATOR going out. So I am back to square one. Car is still sitting. All in all the car has been sitting untouched since 10/21/22 until now 11/11/22. On top of that my rental runs out in 4 days. I have been told 5 different things for one scenario and every new call I’m being asked “why did they tell you that; that’s not accurate; we can’t do that; you can’t do that; etc”. It’s been a circus for the past month!!! I was told multiple times “we can’t call you back” if i had a request or a question that went unanswered. Then I’m told “we do call back, who told you that?!” It’s been a constant run around for a month!! Unacceptable!!! This is too big of a company for the employees to be ignorant of the processes and untrained. I asked to speak to managers on several occasions and was denied. I haven’t spoken to one manager in a month. Requested one manager to call me back and a claims representative called me back! Unacceptable!!

      I'm so glad they did what they did as if it would hurt me. I recieved an email stating they were going to drop me because I didn't allow them to add my 18 yr old daughter on my policy, when I only call to get a quote of how much it would be to add her. My policy payment is due on Nov.15 today is the 13th. Lol . Then they kept trying to go up on my amount every three months for no reason at all. Thanks they did me a favor. Off to find a cheaper rate with better service. No referrals from me and money either. They deserve 0 stars. This is unheard of. I wish I could post the email!

      They don't want to pay for the damage that they police holder cause to my car this happen 09/22/2022 and they still won't pay when their police holder slam into the back of my car

      YOU are NOT covered if YOU damage a vehicle of a RELATIVE that LIVES at the same address as YOU. This IS a STATE FARM POLICY EXCLUSION. You are PERSONALLY LIABLE for the DAMAGES.
      So, if you pay to be "covered" from an Insurance company, what value do they provide when they "exclude" what could be a common situation. Child living with you with different insurance, mother-In-law, grandma etc. Your relatives insurance will cover their car, but will come after you personally for re-imbursement.
      Good luck, worse Insurance Company ever, and their Agents are completely unethical for not disclosing.

While we cannot share specific details in this public response, our Claims Department contacted the complainant on October 14, 2022, to address his concerns. We were unable to resolve this matter to the consumer's satisfaction, but we will review and consider new information if presented.

      I have been with State Farm almost 20 years and while my Agent is wonderful the Corporate as a whole, especially the Underwriting Department are deplorable. They have had corrected information for over a month and my situation has not been resolved and reimbursement still has not been issued. I am very disappointed.

      Just hope no one hits you that has State Farm. I got hit on the on my back door which left a dent! Took it to ****** and they painted my door a whole different color then my car., now State Farm says Oh well you have to keep it like that! So now one side is the color it came with which is a light green the other color is a sliver tone they painted!!My car has never been in a wreck doesn’t even have scratches on it, but now has a door that doesn’t even my my car. Beware of State Farm insurance!
      Now you will call my insurance to see if they can fixed my car so the color will match!

      I had a house fire on October 14 and it’s like I am living a nightmare. I have never in my life experienced a house fire and I thought having State Farm would have provided me with some type of relief and security but it has been pure frustration and no empathy provided. The headache State Farm is causing me makes me hate I even had a policy with them.

      After being a faithful State Farm Customer for over 30 years I was involved in a wreck where the other driver ran a red light (I have the traffic cam to prove it) on June 16, resulting in a total loss of my vehicle. Due to the other driver being under insured i filed through my insurance, at the suggestion of my State Farm agent office manager. Long story short, State Farm refused to cover the full rental of a vehicle compatible to the truck I had. They set on the claim for 10 days after i reported it making my rental longer. They refused to give a fair coverage of my vehicle stating inflation was the reason. I told them i had been with State Farm for 30 years and that I felt that this should be considered. The adjuster told me on June 28th by a State Farm adjuster that it did not matter how long i had been with State Farm. Their CEO make millions as reported, and their spokes person make millions for commercials saying "like a good neighbor State Farm is there" no they were not. My personal agent never contacted me, until i complained and then he did nothing to resolve the issue. For 30 years they received payments and when I needed them they were not a good neighbor. They are like the neighbor who takes and borrows from you and then when you need them they act as if you do not matter. Receiving payment, they deserve a rating of 100% for taking care of you when you need them they should be rated at less than 0%.

      I was in the middle of a three-car accident in late September 2022 (as of writing this, it is November 7th), in which I was rear-ended and pushing into the car in front of me. I was the only person to come away without a usable vehicle, and eventually State Farm totaled it- given the age of the car, this was understandable. What was not was the fact that it took almost two weeks to get me a rental car for an accident I was not at fault for, and during those two weeks I was told they needed the police report (which I emailed to them) and then they needed to 'determine liability,' which I found ridiculous because the person who hit me wasn't contesting that he was at fault, and the person I got pushed into established with the police it wasn't my fault. After I finally manage to procure a rental, it took State Farm another three weeks or so to tell me that they wouldn't look at my vehicle on my property, so they towed it, but would not tell me why or where to. After all of this, I finally get a lowball estimate for my vehicle that in no way puts me in a position to purchase another one, nobody will consider any of the major repairs I've had done, and I still don't have access to my car even though my license plate is still on it and I would like to retrieve it. I was never contacted by anyone from State Farm with the exception of them towing my car, and even then, no one left a message on my voicemail. The assigned adjuster never reached out to me. I tried to talk to a manager multiple times, and was never transferred to a person or even a voicemail. This was one of the worst, most drawn out experiences of my life, and I can't help but think that it's set up this way to frustrate people as much as possible so they take inadequate settlements. I hope their customers are happy with them at least, because if I could sue the people who thought this up I would. Incredibly frustrating, and I can't even buy a car that's on par with the one their customer ruined.

      My auto claim was handled very quickly. I was afraid it might take a long time because of all the hurricane claims at that time but there were no delays at all. Great job!
