On 11/16/24 at around 6:10 pm I went to the Burger King drive thru and ordered a whopper meal with a coupon I had. The employee at the window said the total was $9.34 and I gave her the coupon and my debit card. When she gave me gave me back the receipt, they had charged me $17.58. I told her that there is a mistake here as they charged me for two whopper meals not one. At that point another employee came over and said that I ordered two whopper meals and I told her that I only ordered one. I said you need to either give me back the difference you overcharged me or credit my debit card. She then got on her phone and made a call and then told me she had just talked to the store manager who was off that day but was going to come in to handle this situation. She told me that nobody at the store was authorized to process a refund. I asked how long would it be before the store manager would be here and she didn't know but said she was on her way there. *** was the floor manager who told me that she was also instructed not to give me my food. I told her this is very poor customer service and I can't believe there is nobody working there that can resolve this. I then parked my car and went inside the store to wait for the store manager to get there but after I had waited a total of about 30 minutes I decided to leave. They screwed up my order, would not give a refund and would not give me my food. Burger King stole $17.58 from me and I will never go back there again. This type of service is unacceptable.
