    We have left numerous unreturned messages on the answering machine since June. 2 storage units were rented. We vacated one in June and the other in July. We have notified her no less than ***************************************************************************************************************** for both unit most recently today. I just received notice of a charge again today on 9-2-2025 for yet another month's rent on both storage units. After seeing the reviews on line I have found that she is doing this to her other customers as well. She refuses to call me back and she refuses to answer her business phone. She has also refused to share a copy of the contract.

    I got charged for two storage units today when I just contacted her a week ago telling her to take one off the account. I have 2. She acknowledged it. And then a week later charges me for it anyways? And can't get her to respond to anything now that she is ripping me off 100$.

    The company under Island Storage, Best mini storage or A1self storage sets people up to rent a storage unit but then completely ignores them when you are done and want to end the contract. I rented for 5 years. I called 2 different phone numbers and left messages 9 times and sent 2-3 emails advising i was vacating the storage unit July 26. I finally got a reply and the lady was **** and said i would have to call again. I took pictures on July 26 of the clean unit and called with no response. On August 3 I received a bill, i emailed that i was out in July to update on my deposit return. On 8-9 I emailed again this information and have had no return response. Today I received a bill for almost 3times what i normally paid. I called and left voice messages and emailed. I don't owe anything, I want the account updated with accurate information for the end of my contract and I want my deposit back.

    We contacted the storage operator by phone voicemail and email that we were exiting the storage unit in early December. It was clean and locks were removed. We have the documentation to all attempted contacts. We continue to receive additional month ******** with late fees. Now have placed a lien and added more fees and charges. If you read their on-line reviews, its apparent this is their normal business practice. Im tired of being harassed with additional fees. They do not answer the phone or respond to email. Yet they continue to email bills.

    On August 19, 2023 I cleaned out storage unit that was rented from Island Storage. I emailed and called them with no answer on phone call that I had moved everything out, and didnt need the storage unit anymore. I was paid in full through August. So I informed them that didnt need the unit anymore starting September 1. On Sept 9, 2023 I received an email saying that payment was late. I was finally able to speak with them after many times calling. They said that it was all taken care of and hung up on me. Now on Oct 17 2023. I received another email saying, I owed 3 months rent, cutting lock fees, certified mail fee, lean fee, auction fee and more late fees. Even though theres nothing in the unit. I Called again today they wont answer phone, they texted me back and didnt say anything about correcting the bill. Just were mad that I keep calling, even though they havent ever answered the phone. I just want to make sure that this is taken care of and I dont want anything going against my credit, I had payments on time every month.

    I have tried to close my storage unit account August *******. I have returned the lock and left numerous messages via phone telling them I wanted to close my account. They still billed me for September (including late fees) and the month of October. They have received the lock and key to my unit and it is cleared out. However no one is contacting me to close my account.

    We are trying to cancel a rental unit for 3 months and keep getting bills and late fees. They will not respond to calls messages or texts. The unit was broke into last summer and no response on that issue either. We finally had to stop payment but they keep sending us bills. ******** is full of complaints on the owners and not responding.
