On August 2022 we entered into a contract with *********************** and ******************************* for the new construction of a food trailer. We were told that it would *********** months to complete the project. Prior to the deadline I started following up to see how construction is going. From this point I never got a clear response, ignored phone calls, lies about follow up's. to the point that the time that I finally got a chance to spoke to ***** I express my frustration that as a client investing $16,146.35 I should not be ignored and not receiving proper follow *** ***** apologized and we agree to follow up in a few months, once I started to follow up again it all started again, my calls been ignored and never receiving any follow up. after almost a year I had no knowledge if anything has been build at this point I started looking deep into the company and find out through the BBB and eCourt Kokua webpage that this company had several complains against them. I proceded to file a complaint in court on August 2, 2023 and I was awarded Judgment on September 9,2023 from the court demanding to pay back our deposit. ******* of ********* was served to the company and to this day I have not heard back from them even after I called and text ********************** CEO of the company. Now I have to seek further legal actions to get my money back and I will be seeking damages as well.

On the 1st of April 2023, I made my final payment to Hawaii Food Carts LLC totaling $80000 in total for a 16' food cart trailer. I was supposed to be able to go and pick up the title at time of final payment yet, when I gave the final payment, I was not given my title I was told they would have to pull the title and send it to me. I inquired about my title again in August, as I have been preparing to move and need the title in order to ship my property. I was patient and was told by the owner of the company ******************* that my title would be available for pick up the following week. When I went into the business the following week there was no one available and my title was again not there. I have tried calling, leaving voice mails, texts and no response for either of the people who run the company. The only other option I have is to take them to civil court and file a lawsuit. *** the owner of HFC LLC had no problem calling me and texting me anytime my payment was late yet he can not provide my title to my purchased property.

I entered a contract with Hawaii Food Carts LLC on November 20, 2021 with a deposit of $10,000 towards a custom built food truck. On January 28, 2022, *********************** (owner) sent me a photo of the registration supposedly for my built food truck. It was registered to a different owner and had wrong descriptions. When I asked ***** why it was already registered to someone ******************** said he made a mistake and would send me the correct information. We went back and forth for two months of ***** sending me various other registrations and wrong food trucks. He finally ghosted me in April when my contract said I was supposed to start paying installments for my food truck that was never delivered. Over the following months, I tried calling daily, then weekly, and then monthly to get in touch with ***** and ask for a refund or for deliverance of my food truck. He has never returned my calls or text messages and at this point have written off the $10,000 as a loss. It has now been over a year and I simply do not know what else I can do.

On April 30, 2022, I entered into a contract with Hawaii Food Carts LLC for the construction of a food truck. Over 8 months passed since the agreement was signed. After agreeing upon a 16' food truck design and several months passing by, Hawaii Food Truck informed me that 16' food trucks were very difficult to find in the marketplace. I then worked with Hawaii Food Carts to redesign the truck to fit a 14' food truck design as they informed me that 14' trucks were much easier to find. On October 14, 2022 I directed them to procure a 14' food truck to build out the newly revised and agreed upon 14' design. Since that date, they provided me with no options to select from in order to proceed with the food truck build out even after promising numerous times that they would do so. After numerous attempts to communicate with them by email, phone calls and text messages and receiving little to no response, I then visited their worksite on several occasions and was told by the Owner that they would provide options within days. To date, they have still not followed through on their promises or responsibilities per the initial agreement. As such, Hawaii Food Carts has not acted in good faith, has engaged in deceitful business practices, and is in breach of the terms of the original agreement. After informing Hawaii Food Carts that I wanted to terminate the agreement and obtain a refund of my $25,000 deposit because they were not delivering, on January 9, 2023 Hawaii Food Carts signed a contract termination agreement that we both executed. In it, they agreed to reimburse my $25,000 deposit within 10 business days. Hawaii Food Carts has not issued the requested refund as agreed and now will not respond to phone calls or emails.

I paid off my 10 foot trailer that I purchased from them months ago and have asked for a copy of my completed contract along with the title for the trailer and have not received anything or response from the owners , and have asked numerous times for the payoff amount of the second trailer I bought from them along with a copy of the payments accrual so that I can pay the trailer off, all I received was a bill for August for a standard payment, I asked again for the payoff amount so I can pay it off and also get the title for that trailer and neither of the owners have responded to any of my emails or text messages or calls I really just want to pay off the contract and be able to stop doing any business with this company in the future since there product and customer service is terrible, hopefully you can help me with these matters ****** *********************
