We were moving from ************* to **********, my wife just got a new job at the ************************** and we needed a moving company to take our larger / heavier items. I found the company, Menards Moving Services and Storage online. I spoke with a ***** Forhen who quoted me $2942.80 for the items he asked for, I was required to pay half then and the other half upon delivery. I virtually signed the contract and a truck was scheduled to come in 1-2 days. On day three (Saturday) I called and they said the driver had vehicle issues and he would be there the next day (Sunday). We had to leave due to beginning new jobs. My daughter and her fianc stayed behind to be there for the movers. He finally showed up Sunday evening and I get a call from my daughter saying that the mover is upset because my furniture was too big and bulky and its going over the allotted cubicle feet. Not being there in person made us even vulnerable because we couldnt make this judgement too. We took him at his word reluctantly and sent him or supposedly his bosss Venmo account an extra $1500 because of the size of our furniture. Size was not discussed initially, ***** only wanted a list of items not sizes. Then just as we were confirming an extra $1500 due to the size of my furniture he also demands $300 for gratuity. We tried discussing this with the driver, indicating that gratuity is a tip and we will gladly tip once the service is complete. The driver continued to argue and threatened to take all of our items and remove them from his truck, leave them in our front yard and leave if we didnt send him a $300 tip. We were so distraught because we couldnt really do anything so far away from the situation and we knew this was a scam. The driver showed up alone and he told my daughters fianc to help him load his truck. Living room furniture was destroyed, tv broke, dishes broke, wheel/legs broke, and clothes opened and thrown about. Delivery information, more money and tip = no furn.

On Monday June 23 at 1919, Truck and Crew moving quoted a move from *********, ** to **********, ******* via text at ************ *************) for on or around Monday, June 29 for the amount and inventory as described in the attached statement. Truck and Crew staff would remain unable to reach via text and call until Monday June 29 at 2038 when a young woman from ************, reached out to confirm the date and address for my apartment. The estimated arrival time given was ********* with a one hour notice of expected arrival. On the day of moving, Monday June 30 at 1707, the moving company- now presenting as Handle ********* Moving Services showed up as one man, ******, ************ with a dolly, in an Enterprise truck. The attached quote signed via email was inaccurate. Due to time constraint, I obliged with a newly negotiated price. Both my apartment and storage unit were loaded and final payment amounts and follow up instructions set that evening around 2215. After **** **** of Handle ********* Moving and Transportation. ************. received their proof of initial payment and deposit on Tuesday, July 2 at 1016 at ********************************************************* the location of my items is unknown with no known date of delivery due to numerous unanswered phone calls and generic replies stating someone will call you later but no one ever does.

On April 29, I entered a signed agreement with Truck and Crew Moving Services to relocate household goods from ** to **. The price was $2456.33 with a 10% deposit. This agreement was made with **** ******. **** indicated that this was a family moving company and that once our household goods were picked up, they would be kept on a truck and transported to ********* while also picking up additional truckloads of goods along the way. **** never disclosed he was a broker and would be turning our goods over to another company. It was agreed that our goods would be picked up on June 14 between 10:00 and 12:00. No one showed up during this time period but we were called by dispatch to say that the pickup would be delayed. The pick up occurred at 7:30 pm on June 15. We were not given an inventory or bill of lading at pick up. The agreed delivery date in ********* was June 24.Only after my household goods were picked up, was I told by a person named *** that they were being taken to ******* to storage. At this time I was also told that I had to pay them 70% of the bill due. Only after my goods were picked up was I given a Bill of Lading. Even though I was not given an inventory by the movers, I was told that cost of the move would now cost over $3000. I was also told by *** that they would not guarantee delivery on June 24 unless I agreed to pay an additional $899 for delivery from June *****. I agreed to this amount, for a total cost of $4305.14. I reluctantly agreed to ***** them $1500 because they had all of our goods. *** was abusive. I asked where my household goods were and he refused to tell me. My household goods are now being stored in ******, ** by a company called Handle with Care Moving Services. I have called daily and spoken to **** ******** **** and *****. I have been told on multiple occasions that my household goods would arrive at the latest June 25 in **. It is July 2 - nothing delivered. Pretty sure these people are scammers/criminals.

On 4/17/25 I spoke to someone who identified himself as ****** *****, Operation Director of Noble ********************************************** The company number is 682 206 449 Ext 0005 He gave me a Binding Moving Estimate for Job No. N4558531, of $1,821.50 to move an upright piano from **************. The piano would be delivered in approx 2 days. He told me that his office, ************************************************** is near where Faith lived. I live approx 2 hours drive from **** and was going to be there on the move dates. Someone called and said the driver was behind and wanted to pick up the piano at 1:00. I stated that I would not be there at that time. They wanted to come on Sunday and I let them know I would not be in ****. The date was reschedule for May 7. Two unprofessional movers from Logistic Moving Service picked up the piano. I paid a person who said that he was the manager, $504.27 for order #**** on the Interstate Bill of Lading Contract. He said the movers were contract people and when it was delivered to **, he would have one of his own drivers. On 5/8 I received a call from a **** from the moving co. finance ***** I gave him feedback about the movers. He wanted to know my payment option for the balance. I did not give this info, I did not feel comfortable. Since the pickup date I have not heard anything from anyone. I sent texts to ****** and **** **** letting them know that neither Faith or I have heard anything from the company. To this date 5/28/25, I do not know where the piano is. I have paid a total of $1,317.24 and I have no idea where the piano is, what condition it is now in and when/if it will be delivered.

I hired this company online in Sept 2024 and was quoted a price of **. When they came to my house to deliver the cost was no 4K. Not only was the cost an issue they said they would not unload my stuff until I paid which is illegal to do. After all the items were unloaded I noticed an heirloom portrait was missing and no one seems to know what happened to it and are not willing to look into it, call the drivers or just look for it in their warehouses. Essentially to bad for you, we **** and get over it. After reading the issues on here and other ones online shame on me for not looking into them as a company. They absolutely **** in every aspect of the supposed business they claim to run and then call it "Handle with care". They do not do that nor are the customers that they serve important to them in any way. They take our money by force by holding the goods hostage until you pay and then if there is an issue to bad for you. They have your money and that is all that matters to them. I sincerely hope that I am able to get a resolution to the issue of the missing portrait, but in reality I sadly believe it is gone forever because they are not a professional company and only care about the money they make not the customers they serve. I hope they go out of business, they do not deserve to be in business of any kind.

11/25/2024 -Handle with Care moved me from ************** Mo to ******** (*********) LA *****.They had my original contract for 286 cubic feet and 28 boxes at the price of $1623.00. The men they hired were disgruntled and complained about the wage. They asked for a tip, which I did not provide. A different crew (2 men) arrived in ********* on December 6th, 2024. They delivered less than 20 boxes, and only 10 pieces of my furniture were included, and insisted on an additional $1062.00. We refused to pay until we saw what was on the truck. We had law enforcement with us, which is probably the only reason my things were unloaded at all. I am a senior citizen and a widow, and my relatives felt it would be a good idea to involve the ********************* This was based on our reading of other complaints made on this site regarding this company. Once they agreed to unload, we saw all the belongings literally thrown on this truck along with a wall with other peoples belongings tossed up in a pile like trash. As they began to unload, every piece of furniture was damaged, plus I have an extensive list of things that they either stole or lost, TV, microwave, new box of pots and pans, all my flat ware. I didn't receive my dresser, bed frame, night stand, or large recliner. Boxes filled with my clothes, my orthopedic shoes, and my wedding rings, my deceased husband's wedding band and my pearls. I also had a large box filled with expensive wall art. They are agressive and once again the men that moved us complained they only got paid $100 for the day. Once the men were informed that the casually dressed men with me were law enforcement, they quickly agrred to unload the ******** contract was for $1623.00 I had made payments and paid what my contract required. All of this was in addition to several phone calls and emails with them stating that I had not paid the payments , which I then proved that they, in fact, were made. I would love to recoup some of my losses, if possible.

I hired this company over the telephone. They originally quoted me approximately $2300 total for my move. A few days prior to my move, they stated that the estimate was off, and it would cost more. The price increased to $3054.23. Once they arrived on September 17 and started loading. They stopped halfway and said I had reached capacity. They said they could stop and take what they had so far or pay double the estimate. Then they pretended to negotiate and told me the total cost would be $5210.00 plus $500 tip. I asked for an October 3rd delivery date. I was contacted on October 26 that my things would be delivered on October 27. Upon arrival, I was told that there would be an additional $150 stair charge and a 10% tip on the balance ($168). As they began to unload, I noticed majority of my items were damaged and majority of the hardware was missing. I was told there was nothing they could do except leave the items. I was told that my inventory list was missing, and they had no documentation to provide me with. I was also missing a 55inch television and (2) dining room chairs from a set of 6. I was also missing power cords, tv feet, a foot from my desk and multiple sets of hardware. In total I paid $6020 ($1745 downpayment, $2233 pickup ($1733/$500 tip) and $2050 delivery ($1732/$150 stair charge/$168 tip.I am seeking compensation to pay for the hardware, assembly, and repair of my damaged items. The service and damages that occurred were from pure negligence.

I was lied to regarding the estimate of this move. My items should not have taken up more than ***** cubic feet. I was charged for ***** cubic feet. Estimate 1 w/ My Move- 674cubic feet for $3,300. Estimate 2 w/ My move- ***** cubic feet for $5,660.00 Total actually paid- $5,997.32 You held my items hostage unless payment was made, even though I was actively communicating with you regarding the invoices being incorrect.I was lied to and was not informed that my items were put into storage. This was not authorized, I was informed my items would be loaded and moved immediately to my drop off location. The driver who delivered my items he did not have any DOT documentation. There was no weight ticket. He arrived later than what he said he would, with a budget rental truck. The "Interstate Bill of Lading Contract" I was forced to sign to receive my items is INCORRECT. Again, I was charged $7.00 per cubic feet when I should have been charged $6.00. Again a gratuity was added, it was NOT authorized. $729.60 of gratuity was added to my final payment making it $1,998.32. When I booked this move, I was informed a team of professionals would take apart and reassemble my items. This was not done. Per section 9 of my contract with My Move, I have a "binding to not exceed" and the total cost will not exceed the estimated amount I provided. This was not done.Per My Move contract I have a standard cargo protection up to $10,000 base on $0.60 per pound. Since the driver did not weigh my items I do not even have the ability to figure what my refund should be. This business used a 3rd party claim company called Moving Claims to issue a refund. They are offering $89.00 for the entire claim. No gratuity has been refunded. Refund was based on $0.60 per pound, but no weight was ever taken so this cannot be accurate. I have attempted calling and emailing to have this corrected and I have not received any response.
