  RUN! Zero stars! This builder has the worst quality homes I have ever seen (I am not new at buying new construction). The workmanship is beyond awful. They insist on you waiting 10 months after closing before they fix any workmanship issues, and the workmanship warranty expires one year after closing. They created multiple hazards by throwing sod on the ground without proper ground preparation and did not join/butt it properly (resulting in huge pits, dips, and trip hazards), leaving unburied electrical lines in the yard, and burying damaged septic wires. I just found out my septic pump and alarm have likely not been working since I closed in the summer of 2022. It is just now in the process of being fixed. There are similar issues with the septic systems in multiple Capshaw Homes in my community. Then, there are some things they simply refuse to correct, even if it is CLEARLY their fault. After many ignored requests about the lawn issues, the site superintendent ******* told me they would not be doing anything to address the lawn, and he tried to gaslight me by implying it was my fault because my neighbors' lawns looked okay. Well, I have spoken to my neighbors who confirmed they have the same issues with their lawn installs. I have many photographs of the poor workmanship. The problems are simply too many to include here. If I could turn back the hands of time, I absolutely would run away from any Capshaw Development construction. It has been almost 14 months and I have yet to meet a resident here who claims to be happy with the quality of their new home. I am still trying to get issues resolved. There are a couple of good employees, but they don't have the power to make decisions about fixing the multitude of issues. The problems fall squarely on the shoulders of the builder. It's an absolute nightmare. I absolutely would NOT recommend this builder.

  I am compelled to share my deeply unsatisfactory experience with this company. While I had high hopes for the quality and craftsmanship of their homes, my expectations were sorely let down by a multitude of issues that have left me feeling frustrated and regretful.From the very beginning, it became evident that corners had been cut, resulting in an array of problems. The toilets consistently malfunctioned, the appliances frequently failed, and the plumbing experienced repeated issues. These constant inconveniences have made everyday living in my home a source of frustration and disappointment. Attention to detail in the finishing touches was severely lacking. The installation of the carpet, was haphazard at best, with staples protruding from the floor and causing discomfort to anyone walking barefoot. Such oversights are indicative of a lack of care and professionalism on the part of Capshaw Homes. Perhaps the most egregious breach of trust was the deceptive marketing tactics employed by the company. When I initially purchased my home, I was attracted to the idea of living in a subdivision boasting four-sided brick homes. To my dismay, Capshaw Homes later engaged in a bait-and-switch strategy, constructing homes with brick facades only. This blatant disregard for the promises made during the purchasing process left a bitter taste in my mouth and eroded any remaining confidence I had in the company. The landscaping of our property has been nothing short of a disaster. Capshaw Homes failed to deliver on the promised aesthetic appeal, leaving us with a yard that looks unsightly and poorly maintained. The grass they installed is of such poor quality that it has transformed our once-promising landscape into an eyesore.In conclusion, my experience with Capshaw Homes has been a disappointment on multiple fronts. As a *********** Broker, I would strongly caution potential buyers to thoroughly research and consider alternative options before committing to a Capshaw home.
