On November 23, 2024 the vehicle I purchased from platinum Marietta was totaled in an accident. I was hit by a drunk driver. While filing for my gap claim it was made aware that the dealership snuck in a $4000 warranty after I told them I dont want any Warranty. While I was in finance, the manager raised my payment $60. I asked how and he said my first number was just an estimate. He lied and added in the warranty. Ive now been trying for months to get the warranty reimbursement check of $3000. February 12 was the last time platinum cars communicated with me. They told me me the funds were now available and they were sending a check. Ive called and left messages multiple times since February 12 and they will not pick up the phone or call me back regarding the $3000 check that they owe me for the Warranty reimbursement. On July 23 this year, I bought a 2020 ******* car from this company, they let me buy three vehicle extended warranties without my knowledge, and when I went home to check the bill, I found out, I called and emailed this company to ask them to push it off for me, they agreed and told me that they could return it in two months, until November 7th I called DOWC and they told me that my vehicle was not returned with an extended warranty, and I kept contacting this dealer, Either no one answered the phone, or they asked a bunch of messages and didn't replyInitial Complaint

I brought a car on line form this company above, the sale man was great, I purchase a 2021 GLC 300 ************* for 43k I did trade in on my car 2016 ************* for 10k. let the sale man know I will be leaving town and the car has to be deliver before Saturday 08/03/2024. went to bank got the loan, paid them I paid ******* extra for deliver. call was deliver on Friday 08/02/2024 look at the car with the naked eye there no issues with the mirror once you get in the car, move the mirror it will not move like it should. I call the sale man and sent picture of the issues with the driver panel and the mirror. call every day starting Saturday Aug 3,5,6,7,8 and the 9th. talk to ********* and ***** the sale manager, another Sale manager *******. every day i call tried to reach the owner ***, By the way i did not order my on deliver company i used the come the sale man gave me that the company he said they used. ENSUENO WITH MOVE ************. now there saying i pick the deliver company and it my fought. and there sending me the part for the door and want me to get it fix. that crazy i want them to fix the car are go half on the cost of the all of it to be repair, i took the car *********** and it costing me cost to *******. i can send you copy of all of it. the on *** do not want to help, i will drive the car back and they can send the ******** check back to TOGETHER CREDIT ********** and give me back my 2016 ************* and the ******* down payment i will take the lost for ******* i paid to have the car deliver to me and them and the $2012.00 mirror charge i paid plaza motor for the repairs on the mirror.Business Response

On May 10, 2024, we purchased a vehicle from Platinum Cars in Marietta. Our Tesla, Model Y, was a trade-in as part of the sale. Our bank transferred the funds to Platinum Cars, and they were provided with the loan details to pay off the remaining balance of Tesla. On 5/29/2024, we were notified that we were late on our payment for the Tesla and immediately called *******, the finance contact at Platinum Cars. He assured us that he would take care of this right away and it would be resolved that day. As of today, 5/31/2024, the loan for the Tesla has not been paid off, and we are now facing the risk of the loan going into default status, which could potentially have a severe negative impact on our credit.In addition to this issue, we also had problems with the *** we purchased from Platinum Cars. After buying the vehicle, we brought it to a ******** dealership to have it thoroughly inspected. We were given an estimate that included over $8,000 worth of work that needed to be completed on the vehicle. We contacted Platinum Cars and were connected with the Service Manager, ****. **** was professional, empathetic, apologetic, and maintained constant communication with us as we worked with the dealership to determine what if any, cost they would cover. Platinum Cars ended up covering about half of the overall cost of the work that needed to be completed, and we were satisfied with the resolution. I share this additional experience to outline our overall negative experience with Platinum Cars. Though **** made every attempt to improve our experience with this dealership, I would never purchase another vehicle from them, nor will I recommend that anyone do business with them.Business Response

We purchased a car ********* C43 AMG) from them on 4/17/24. Only after all the paperwork was completed and they had taken an extremely long amount of time to get everything together (despite knowing the day before that we were coming in from out of town to purchase the car with cash), did they inform us that there was only 1 key fob. My husband voiced displeasure at that time and we were told that we could take it or leave it. I called the sales manager the next day and left a voicemail requested a call back to attempt to settle the issue - however received no call back. I continued to call for a week and leave voicemails, with no luck and again, no return calls. My husband left a ****** review on 4/21 stating what had happened. The sales guy, *****, called him and proceed to call him a liar and then yell at him. I have since then reached out to the management staff again, with no attempts to contact me back or fix the situation. All we want is a key fob and are even willing to meet them half way on it and to be treated with a little bit of respect as customers who purchased an expensive car with cash with their business.Initial Complaint

Which Mr.Gifsley score is not available neither I can disclose that information to anyone here. Just in simple words I will say how would we run Mr.Gifsley information if Mr. ******* did not give us his info and authorize us to run it. I pruchased a Kia ******* from Platinum Cars Marietta on October 27th. The finance office sold me the extended warranty coverage provided by EasyCare. After doing some research the next day, I realized it would likely be impossible for me to use my extended warranty if I put performance modifications on the car. The contract states you have 30 days from purchase for a full refund, so I called EasyCare to cancel and they sent me the paperwork. I completed paperwork and on November 20th they confirmed my extended warranty and KeyCare contracts were cancelled with an effective date of November 3rd (the day I returned the paperwork to EasyCare). I was advised the dealership would send the refund to my *************** (CapitalOne) within 4-6 weeks. Its been more than 6 weeks and my finance company has not received the refund. The EasyCare contract was sold to me for $4,125 and the KeyCare contract was $1,000.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2015 Canyon 2 years ago and also a warranty through the dealership with DOWC. The truck was bought as it is now and now that we are having an issue with the transmission the warranty company does not want to cover the work needed . They told me I needed to contact the dealership and I have talked to numerous people with Platinum Cars Marietta to no avail. On or about 2/07/2023 i, purchased a 2019.GMC Sierra *** from them for $50,000 with a $6,500 down payment. I haven't received my my tag so. I contacted my local tag office & ask why & was informed they haven't received the title packet from the deership so I contacted Platinum Cars & was told they weren't going to send it because I owed them. $1,800? I asked why & they said I hadn't fullfilled my down payment but I have my signed documents where I payed the tilte ***** ******* & down payment. I purchase a car in April. My agreement was to get a check for $450 to repair dash and touch up Paint. I could not get the paint taken care of by them so we made an agreement for $650 for dash and paint. I got the work done and took me months to finally get them to pay me $500.
