      I purchased a multifamily property from Synergy Investing in 2023. Within days of closing, I discovered issues with the ************ that were not disclosed or were misrepresented during the transaction. 1- The seller falsely claimed the **** units were "brand new"2- The seller failed to obtain required permits from *************** for installation of **** units 3- The seller did not use a licensed technician to install the units as required by Georgia law 4 - The units were installed incorrectly, causing damage to the ceiling. The drip pans below one of the units was not levelled correctly, and the drip lines were clogged. Upon first using the **** unit, the condensation overflowed from the unbalanced drip pan/clogged line, which flooded the ceiling and caused $2200 worth of damage. The stains on the ceiling show where previous stains were painted over, proving the seller knew of the leak previously and covered up the defect to sell the property.I attempted to reach out to the seller multiple times over the past several months to remedy the issue, and he has refused. He broke multiple county and state ordinances by illegally installing the **** units with a non-licensed person, and violated real estate law by hiding latent defects with the property. Since the seller represented himself during the sale, he also perpetuated the fraud for monetary gain.

      I have attached photos of the sale documents for the property described in the complaint l, clearly showing *********************** name and signature as well as the name of his company, Synergy Ventures (now known as Synergy Investing). This is evidence of his continued attempt to defraud myself and the BBB by dishonest means.

      have photos of the business webpage listing ***************************** as the CEO of Synergy Investing, and emails between myself and ***************************** via his Synergy Investing email address, discussing the property sale and damage. Changing a business name is a simple matter, and is not relevant to my claim. Regardless of the name he is currently doing business under, ***************************** is listed on my sale documents as the seller and sole member of Synergy Ventures. As the seller, he is responsible for the fraud during the sale and the damage to the property.

      I responded to this complaint in a different thread already. Synergy Investing has never done any business with this person and has never owned a multi family property. They are making a claim against the wrong business.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I have already provided photo documentation of ***************************** and Synergy Ventures/Synergy Investing as the entity from whom I purchased the property. I have photos of the sale documents with his name and signature, as well as email copies with his name and email address that show him admitting to being the previous owner. His attempts here to claim this is not related to him are just further attempts to defraud myself and the BBB.

      My wife and I had signed a purchase agreement with Synergy to buy our house. Synergy was to deposit $5000 ******* money within 48 hours after signing, as described in the contract. Synergy violated the contract. Synergy's president ***************************** admitted they never deposited the required $5000 ******* money. They cancelled the contract and refused to pay the ******* money. Despite not fulfilling their obligation to deposit the ******* money, ******* placed a duly sworn contractual lien with ****** County on my home. Synergy kept the lien on my home well after they cancelled the contract causing delays on my ability to sell my house. *******, is no longer responding to emails. We are owed $5000. We will gladly supply the contracts and email exchanges to the BBB if requested.

      Thank you for your efforts.  I have good news.  Synergy has now paid the ******* money that they were contractually obligated to pay.  I have no issues with Synergy now.  I would like to immediately withdraw my BBB complaint.  Your contact with Synergy was instrumental in resolving the issue.
