WARNING: I went to Nore and saw *****, NP, for hormones. In Oct 2023, I had an odd smell throughout my body. I thought it was my hormones, because they were no longer absorbing into my body, rather, they were lumpy inside of me. I'd been on BHRT since my early 40s. I was not new to them. I had ***** run my adrenals and thyroid. They were fine. Next, I had her run a renal panel, because I had 10 years of history dealing with my kidneys. ******, her phlebotomist, took my blood. It was from THAT very moment where this nightmare began! ****** used every one of the following methods that are widely documented, as causes of FALSE hyperkalemia, i.e., pseudohyperkalemia: A tight tourniquet Fist pumping Fist clenching Released the tourniquet after my blood was being drawn The nephrologist ***** referred me to, ************************, then treated me for hyperkalemia, a LIFE- THREATENING DISEASEand due solely to the medical negligence by ******. These errors also caused other false blood results, and more stress. When ******, who unmistakably lacked the knowledge to do her job correctly, and effectively, I, her patient, suffered in innumerable ways. Some might downplay their seemingly menial job compared to a medical doctor, surgeon, etc., yet the phlebotomists job is critical to the care of the patient. The phlebotomist actually offers the first look inside the patients body via the blood they draw. If they lack the knowledge and/or expertise in drawing a patients blood correctly, the patient suffers. ****** most certainly lacked both! I suffered for 7 mths! I was eating just 500mg potassium daily, but my potassium was always high! I feared having a stroke, etc. I told Dr. * something was wrong. She ignored me. When ***** finally discovered ******'s mistakes, she ignored me, too. She said NOTHING! That told me all I needed to know about ***** a woman, as a NP, and as a person. The incompetence, and lack of integrity, was beyond comprehension! *******
