    On July 8, 2023, my mom was involved in an accident while driving my vehicle. The accident occurred on a state highway, right in front of a gas station. The tow truck driver was told that I was on my way with a wrecker to pick up the vehicle and that I wanted the vehicle towed out of the highway (as it was required by the responding officer) and taken to the parking lot approximately 20 ft from where the accident occurred and the fee was going to be paid on scene. The driver towed my vehicle to their impound lot anyway, without providing any details and without my consent. The following day I contacted the tow company, a female answered the phone and was under the influence of something to the point where she was slurring and asking me the same question multiple times. She proceeded to tell me that my car was towed without my consent instead of being taken to the parking lot as requested, because the officer had it impounded. I had to wait until Monday to contact the police department and the responding officer to confirm that my vehicle WAS NOT impounded and was only required by law enforcement to be moved from the highway and could be taken to the location of my preference. On Tuesday I contacted the company once again and was told by the first individual that they would have dropped the vehicle off at the parking lot as requested if they knew the fee was going to be paid on scene (which the driver was already told we would pay the fee right then). He then told me to speak with his supervisor who was the rudest individual Ive spoken to! She informed me that she didnt care what I told the driver and that if I wanted my car I would pay the fees that have been going up each day. Then she hung up. Theres absolutely no way this type of scam is legal.

    This was a police cal, the owner of the vehicle was not on scene therefor we can not tow to a random parking lot or any location other than the secure storage facility. We must follow the instruction of Law Enforcement if asked to remove a vehicle. Ga. has rules for opening roadways. Also we do not tow a vehicle anywhere without the legal owners permission as well as proper picture I.D.

    On February 6th my car was towed by Corner Lot Towing. On March 13th when I received my car back from the collision center I noticed damages to my car while it was stored at Corner Lot Towing. I initially contacted Corner Lot Towing to get before and after images of my vehicle and I was told they did not have before and after photos of my car while it was stored. I was able to receive before and after photos from the collision center and the company who towed my car from Corner Lot Towing to the collision center to determine that the damage occured at Corner Lot Towing.I contacted Corner Lot Towing on Monday, June 12th and I was instructed to send an email that shows the damages to my car. On Wednesday, June 14th I called Corner Lot Towing to get a follow-up response and I was told that they were awaiting details on the next steps. On Friday, June 16th I followed up again via email and did not receive a response.
