    My storage unit was apparently robbed and the company that took over the site will not stop billing me or provide me with access to the unit. Direct calls to the facility or calls transferred to the site by customer service personnel would only lead to voicemail. There was no way to know if any staff was on site in ********, **. I live in *******, GA and would have to take an **** to the site, but there is no way to know if staff would be present to open my storage unit since they refuse to send me a key to the new lock. I have asked the storage company to close my account and stop billing me since they refuse to provide me with a key to the new lock that they charged me for in May 2025. The site manager stated by phone that when they took over the storage facility in January 2025, that several storages units had their locks missing, including mine; there was no mention of a police or incident report being filed. But, the attached notification was not sent to me until April 2025 and blames me for the missing lock on a unit that I've had since 7/30/22 under a different company, Citizen's Storage. But, the company was still accepting payments from me since January 2025, without mentioning a missing lock; $1305.94 so far. I did not see the attached email in my email account until June ************************************************************************************************************************* the storage unit while refusing to send me the key to the new lock , as promised. The only reason for the lock on the storage unit to have been stolen by someone in the first place is so that the storage unit contents could be stolen; it is not reasonable to believe that my items are still there with no lock for at least 4 months. There is no way to close the account on the company website, or by speaking to their call center customer service personnel. There is no way for me to file a police report . This company just seems intent on billing me forever.
