  S***** M** and Olde Towne Chimney Sweeps are the best! They completely rebuilt my fireplace and chimney and did a beautiful job. They came when promised, finished much quicker than quoted and hauled away all of the debris. They also cleaned the dust from my floors and furniture and put everything back where it belonged. I recommend them without reservation.

  S***** *** and his crew at Old Towne Chimney Sweep are the best. After moving here in 2020, Old Towne was not the first sweep I used, but after dealing with S*****, I will use no other. The previous service (Brand X) cleaned my chimney well enough and I was satisfied at the time. At the recommendation of several neighbors, I decided to give Old Towne a try and the difference was remarkable. To my surprise, a team of technicians showed up who not only cleaned the flue, but gave my chimney a thorough inspection from the chimney cap to the substructure below in the crawl space. They also provided me with recommendations for repairs (mortar joint repairs, etc) that I was able to complete myself, as well as advisories as to the proper use and care of my propane log lighter.
  During my most recent service I was complaining to the technicians about an intermittent and disagreeable “soot smell” emanating from the fire place that seemed to come and go with the weather. I was prepared to contact an HVAC company to install a whole-house ventilation system ($$$.) S******* technicians had a fix in mind and recommended a “top sealing damper” system. They returned 10 days later to install it, not surprisingly, for minute fraction of the alternatives I was considering. Soot smell gone. Happy camper here.

  We highly recommend Olde Towne Chimney Sweep to anyone who is looking for chimney cleaning, repair, and restoration services to their home.
  During a really bad storm, our chimney was struck by a tree and had taken damage. The fireplace was no longer safe for use, and we needed to have our entire fireplace system replaced.
  Mr. Sidney and his wonderful team Will, Larry, and Martin went out of their way to go above and beyond our expectations. They are not only friendly but also highly skilled. They are reliable, honest, and operated with integrity. They always took the time to answer any questions and concerns we had during the entire process. They performed a high-quality refurbishment and retrofitting of our chimney and fireplace. Upgrading it with modern technology while definitely maintaining its vintage beauty.

  this is the best company to work with. I had a wood burning stove installed (incorrectly) and it was not operating correctly. I did have to wait a bit for them to come out, but well worth it. Professional, explained the process, cleaned up, and the stove has never worked this great! I feel very lucky to have found them. check if your chimney sweep is actually trained and certified....these folks are!
