    I used Driftwood Moving on 28 June 2022 to move my household goods into a storage unit at Superior Storage Brunswick, GA while I was waiting for military movers availability. After the move was finished, the side of the piano was scratched. I raised it to the attention of the owner, ******. He checked with the crew foreman, who confirmed that the damage was from them. He agreed to find a repairman and pay for repair of the damages. We met in person later that week to discuss, and he said he was going out of town on vacation the next week and asked me to follow up with him the following week when he got back. I did so, and let him know that the piano would only be in the area for approximately a month before military movers picked it up. I told him I would not be available to meet him to let him into the storage unit because I was leaving the area for the move, but I left a key on file in the Superior Storage office with his name on it for the purpose of repair, so he could access it when he found a repairman. Over the part two months I have sent multiple text messages, multiple emails, and called and left several voicemails. He has not responded to any of them. Prior to this issue, he had responded to phone calls and texts (with a phone call back). I have not heard from him since the time we met in person several days after the move. I called the Superior Storage office and asked if ****** had ever used the key, and they told me he had not. I am requesting a partial refund to cover the cost of repair.

    ****** was experiencing some health problems, having radiation, after this move.  He was told that she would be in Germany for the next 3 years.  He was unable to find anyone local that he trusted enough to repair the piano, so he was going to repair it himself, thinking he had plenty of time while she was in Germany  We did go to the storage building , but she had moved her stuff.  I have called her & am mailing her a check today to pay for the repair.  I am also sending her an itemized statement as requested.   Thanks, *** ****, owner.
