I purchased the service and cancelled within the trial period. They have charged my bank account. I sent an email and they assured me the account was cancelled. They have taken 2 payments of $24.99 since it was cancelled. I have contacted them again and informed them I contacted the BBB and reported them.Business Response

Look, I have no idea what this is. Initially I thought it had something to do with one of my social media apps to allow me to see who viewed my profile. Its not. Ive been being charged $1 every month since January 2023 apparently and today I was charged $22.86 for something I do not utilize nor have a clue as to what it is. I called customer support and the system said I have no account! I emailed today so I hope to get refunded back everything Ive been charged for! This seems highly illegal! The account was created on 06/01/22 with our $1.00 7-day trial. Upon further review, it appears we did not receive a request to cancel prior to the end of the trial. In that event, your account was automatically renewed to the monthly subscription of $1.00.When signing up for our background reports, the subscription does outline that it will auto-renew until elected to cancel. You can contact us to cancel at any time, and will not be billed for your next billing cycle.
Please be assured that your account was canceled and you were issued a refund of $25.86. The refund was processed immediately on our end, however, please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

I took an intelligence test on line and was asked to pay $1 to get the results. I didnt get the results and read that the $1 was a pre membership to Peoplelooker. I called to cancel my membership and was told that I didnt have a. Membership. On December 15, 2024 $27.21 was deducted from my bank account at ************************. I called 3 three times to get through to request a refund but couldnt get service. Can you help me with this problem?I am an 82 year old woman in poor health and **********. Since February 12, 2024 I have been receiving monthly $1 charges to my debit card (excluding February in which I was charged twice to my card, one on the 12th and one on the 20th).This morning, December 18, 2024 I woke up with a $22.86 charge to my card. After being charged $1.00 per month for ten months, I am confused why I am now being charged $22.86.
