On January 26th Solaris Electric sent a technician to my 90 year old parent's home to resolve an electrical issue. The technician called me to tell me the issue was resolved however he told me that the entire electrical panel needed to be moved to another area. He said the cost would be $3600 and my parents would have to pay half before they could start the job the next day. I reluctantly gave the technician a credit card number for him to charge the $1800 as my parents really do not have the funds for something that is that costly. Later that same day I talked to my siblings about the proposed work that was going to be done. We decided we should not go forward with the job. I called Solaris Electric the next morning and explained the situation. I asked that they refund the $1800 and charge for the work that was completed. I was told they would do this but it might take a week or two. The following are the dates I have contacted and talked to a representative at Solaris to resolve this issue: Feb 2, 10, 15, 22, 25, 26, 27, March 1, 4. The last phone call I told the Solaris representative I was going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
