    I booked a appointment for my daugher.. the first time I booked she cancelled the appointment because she didn't get the deposit in 20 mins after booking when her website says 24 hours after booking..I let that be and liked her work she pushed my daughter's hair appointment back which I said was fine. I blowed dried her hair straight. When I get there she says oh .. I only do apple pay or cash and that's not listed as final payment on her website. I sent the deposit via cash app. I went and got cash. She calls me and says that's she is charging $15 extra because she didn't like how I blew her hair out. I told her it's just too many changes and things that isn't on your website and told her to just cancel and send me back the money for the supplies since nothing was used .($15) She's refusing to return that amount when I did nothing wrong.. but be accommodating. I sent a deposit of $50.00 and she did nothing to my daughter's hair. No supplies was used and she will use it on other clients hair which is not right.

    *************** to ***************** complaint. I am not sure why she is complaining when she stated keep the deposit even though it is in my policy. I have attached video of her statement. Every thing she is complaining about is in my policy and in the screen shots that she sent you.  Policy states payment is due prior to service and I only accept apple pay or cash.  Deposit can be paid via apple pay or cash app and is none refundable.  Hair must be stretched straight not detangled. Her child's hair was detangled. I was willing to stretch it for $15 when my actual fee is $50.  I have no idea why she is expecting me to refund her for supplies that she did not provide. If you look at her screen shot she stated that she did not want to go to the hair store so she would not be providing supplies.

    On Dec 16 I paid the merchant $50 for a deposit for a hair appointment. I then was turned away based on a ridiculous claim of my hair texture. I then scheduled a second appointment with another payment of $75 on December 21st. After having a conversation with the stylist it was apparent that she just wanted the funds and not to service me. I had a conversation with her about returning my money and it became an issue. I explained to her how it was not legal to keep my money and that the requirements she had to style the hair was not legal especially since she is not licensed and home based. I have since requested the return of my money and filed a dispute with my bank.

    Deposits are non refundable due to the fact that we have had to purchase product for the person and time was taken away from other people. This is our Policy.

    I am rejecting this response because: the business owner clearly stated in messages that the hair would be provided for the service meaning she did not have to go out and purchase products based on my specific need. She already had the items in her inventory.  

    also, she was very much able to take other clients without my service being done which she did after the fact.
