1 starThe customer service for this company is absolutely horrible. I ran into a problem of my drain pan needed cleaned. One hour came out and "cleaned" it. Two days later air stops working. I called on a Saturday and there was no availability until Monday 8am-6pm. A broad window. So i guess their name of 1 hour air is no where near true. Anyways, I checked out why my air wasn't working and I noticed the float switch was installed on a downward slope so naturally it was going to collect water. I then took off the air handler panel and noticed that the back of the drain pan was not cleaned. I been trying to get ahold of someone that can help me. For three days I have been told the branch manager Mike/Michael M. or Regional Manager Kyle F. would call within a few minutes or by end of the day. There are multiple reviews like mine where you cannot get ahold of mike or Kyle. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!Review fromG. A

1 starThe service provided was unsatisfactory. Upon arrival on June 1st, 2024, the technicians lacked the necessary materials to complete the job. They commenced work at 8 am and continued until 10:30 pm, yet they were unable to complete the task. Consequently, they had to return on June 4th, 2024, to finish the job. This resulted in multiple trips to retrieve essential components, causing delays and inefficiencies. Furthermore, the installation process resulted in damage to my property, including cracks in the ceiling and damage to the attic during the installation of the air handler. Additionally, the placement of the outside unit was aesthetically unpleasing and could potentially impact the resale value of my home. I encountered unprofessional behavior from the lead technician, Johnathan, who made impolite remarks. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services, particularly if the technician assigned is Johnathan. However, I must acknowledge the positive attitude and respectful demeanor of the technician Angel. I did not pay 18k for this. It absolutely absurd.Review fromJess P

1 starThis company is like the domino effect. They "fix" one thing and another ***** the bed. Warranty? Guess what, not labor. Let's put all that aside, nearly I'm pretty sure more- I had the lady I called send me every single invoice and 17 of them were service related calls for my 4 year old Reem **** they installed. The installation looks like **** outside, they zip tied my 8k **** outside to stop it from screeching..seriously. I called a manager today and he told me, usually you should of called prior to us installing 6k worth of duct work. I was baffled, I was advised if this **** wasn't fixed I'm going to blow my whole ****. He also told me he doubts anything can be done. I could write a list of maintenence issues and mistakes, money pit and I promise you every tech says something different. Come for a check up and there is an issue. Every 6 to 9 months. Just dropped 6k for one guy to come in and say the wholeeeeee time that was the issue. The manger was totally unsympathetic & told me scotts was bought out 2 years ago so my attorney could not do much of anything. This is seriously how they operate. 16k in the hole with in 4 years. Between missing work, the money & the stress I can't get that back. Avoid this company 100%. At all costs, don't get screwed.Review fromK C H

1 star12/8/2023 Was told unit needed new solenoid that controls the reversing valve in my heat pump. Tech replaced it and unit was working fine on cooling. Few days later needed heat and unit wouldn't reverse. Tech returned, fixed it, so he said but later wouldn't reverse again. Was also told I needed a new low voltage wire run from the unit to the thermostat at a cost of $989. I paid a $300 deposit that day and decided to get a second opinion from another company. They found the reason the solenoid wasn't working is because it was unplugged!! They also told me I did not need a new low voltage wire. I contacted the company and *******, the branch manager called me and said I would receive a $300 refund for the deposit paid. Today is 3/19/2024 and I've never received the refund. Then I allowed them to seal the ductwork in my house at a cost of $6,000. During this process the tech didn't seal the registers inside my house and the sealant filled my house with a fog that settled on my terrazo floors. I once again spoke with ******* and was promised he would pay to have my floors cleaned. Once again and empty promise. The cleaning cost me $400 and I'll never see a ***** of that back. Now they're telling me it's time for my spring maintenance check-up that's covered under my contract with them. There's no way I'm letting anyone from One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning get near my heat pumps and I'm in the process of canceling the contract. LONG STORY SHORT....DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY TO WORK ON YOUR UNITS. I LEARNED A HARD AND EXPENSIVE ********Review fromAlexander M

1 starHad a brand new unit placed Mar 2021 by this same company and paid for insurance plan for 6 month maintenance plan in which they did not service for over one year. I was told as long as I had that plan any repairs would be covered. This is a lie. They come over today and proceed to tell me my brand new 8K AC unit they installed and maintained requires 6K worth of repairs and that the cost with insurance. I read multiple reviews stating the same thing. Stay away at all costs.Review fromjearldean a

1 starWe had this company replace our total HVAC system in November of 2022. They have been out to our house every month due to some issue with the system. The one we bought is under warranty for 10 years. The last time they came out they wanted to charge $325.00 for coming out when it was there problem. We should have looked round more and went with a different company. The joke is now on the new owners of our house.Review fromShannon D

1 starThis would be minus 5 stars if possible. I had their maintenance program so called when the AC went out. Got an appointment for the next morning. Great...well maybe. After a quick amp check or whatever was told the fan motor was out. He thought he could order a part ...would take 3-4 days. I called at day 4. Can't reach local office, get sent to Sarasota or somewhere. Part not available....ok any ETA? Nope, can I talk to local office..they place you on hold and then say they are escalating the problem to upper management and someone would call. Nope. Finally after 6 days of over 100° I get a call they will be out the next day 8-11. Nope. I called and finally got their call center manager who said no there wasn't a part, not sure why the girl put in an appointment etc...50 mintues later he said someone would call. Nope. At 3 I called another company had someone here at 4, had ac fixed at 4:15. Didn't need a fan moter, it was just stuck. He said any reputable AC repair person would know that. They were going to charge me $1100. I asked how much the motor would be if they replaced, he said all in for $545! Immediately called at canceled the next appointment. The other guy said they do this a lot and upsell etc. Never again!Review fromRobert M

1 starTerrible service and absolutely NO response from One Hour Air Management team. Had issues and we escalated to the Branch Manager Michael M******, Regional Manager Kyle F****, and V.P. Eddie W****. I called over 15 times over a 6-week period. NO ONE EVER RESPONDED. I did get a call from a Christan and she blamed everything on the customer and would not take any responsibility. She was rude and totally disrespectful and hung up on the call. FIND ANOTHER company to spend your money with because this company is totally unresponsive and could care less about any customer. MANAGEMENT REFUSES to answer any calls or to call anyone back. I spent over three hours calling daily trying to get any response from this company!
