    On 9/30/23 we purchased a water softner from Daystar Marketing and Consulting, **** Days later was installed however they put the drainage under my ***** home making a pool of water around the support blocks every time the system discharged which will cause the home to sink over time. I called them and I told them to take the hose out from under the house wich they did and they lay the hose and tubing on the ground. The installers them called the manager and I spoke with him and he said that he was going to call me the next day to arrange for a day to come out and connect the drainage to the washing machine drain with an air gap but that never happened and the hose was left where they left it on the ground. I didn't pulled the hose my self and they haven't returned my calls or my wife's calls. No calls no e mails or messages from them . I enclosed a picture showing the way they installed and one the way they left it . The white tubing was to connect to the washer drain when they bring the air gap. Please help . **************************** 12/12/*************** ********************

    I had a rep come to my house and do a water test for me. I agreed to buy the system and they set me up for installation the same day. The finance guy Bill called me and let me know they were waiting to hear back about financing, but something wasn't working. He said they wouldn't be there to install. He said they would see what the issue was and do everything they could to get me a system. He advised he would be in contact the next day. He never called me back. I don't believe they have any intention on coming out or installing the system. Had I qualified, they would be answering my calls and returning my messages, now I haven't received the gift cards I was promised and I can't get an answer from anybody in the company. I advised them all that I had a tight budget before they began and still they said we can make it work. That is just bad business in my opinion and I will be letting everyone I know, know how they do business.

    This complaint was submitted only 48 hours after the customer agreed to purchase an Entek water treatment system.  Unfortunately, we were unable to arrange the requested financing for the customer.  If the customer was able to pay by cash or credit card, we would have gladly installed the system.  Obviously, this is no fault of the company.  The customer will be receiving her gift card when they are processed for the week (again the demonstration was only 48 hours ago).

    They came out with no obligation to purchase anything. They offered $100 gift card to just listen to the presentation. Sounds like a great product but just purchased my home and couldn’t afford the expense. After the presentation I was never given the gift card and was told it would be mailed to me and I would have it within the week. It’s now been well over that time frame and no gift card. False advertising and wasting my precious time. Very bad business.

    I apologize for the delay.  This could have been resolved quicker by contacting the office at 888-843-6835 or using the gift card tracking on our website getsolarwater.com. The complaint was made on the 27th, today is the 29th and the demonstration was done on the 15th.  Looking at the address attached to this complaint it appears there was a typo when the gift card was mailed.  I will personally make sure it goes out again today to the correct address.

    I had purchased a Solar Total Home Water Treatment System on 8/30/2022 from a home sales Rep from Daystar Corporation/ ****** ** ******** whichever they classify as. The installation department carelessly installed the solar system in front of two very large, shady trees. Because of this, I had not been receiving my benefits for the past 5 to 6 months since purchasing the system. I am filing a complaint about my experience with this company and I would like to return the system for a full refund as a resolution due to negligence, nonperformance, improper installation, and simply not receiving what I paid for.
    I reported the issue to ***** /Daystar and they send Len out and he moved the panel. No one calls prior to appointment. The company told me that moving the panel to correct area was the resolution to me not receiving my benefits for the past 5 to 6 months. They improperly installed the solar panel, causing the system to not receive sunlight for months. I had no knowledge prior to the appointment that the system had a dead battery. The system was just installed on 8/30/2022, why would the solar panel already be broken? Regardless of where they put the panel, I was still calling to report the reason why they had to move the panel which was because it was carelessly installed originally. I wanted a resolution to not receiving the benefits I paid for, for 5 to 6 months. They did not come up with a resolution for this so I want to return the system. Employees were beyond rude. They do not answer the phones. No recorded phone lines so they treat you how they please. No quality assurance is provided. I have never been treated so awful by a company that caused the issue in the first place. Whomever I spoke with in the installations department on line 4 on 2/23/23 was so awful, I was in tears. Would not recommend this company and really wish I never gave them the benefit of the doubt.

    We remain ready and willing to service your unit.  The unit is powered by a battery that is charged by the solar panel.  The battery is capable of running the unit for extended periods of time.  In fact, it seems it was able to run the unit from August 30 to late February when you first called for service.  The service technician determined that the battery had been depleted and that moving the panel to a more ideal location was the best resolution.  The service technician moved the panel and replaced the battery at no charge to you.  In fact we have a signed (by you) service ticket showing what service was performed. Since then, you have made several calls to the office and have had no problem getting in contact with several people at the office.  Our records indicate that it is you that continues to raise your voice and hang up on several people.  A resolution was proposed (again at no charge) and another appointment was scheduled for last week, however you refused to confirm.  Again we remain ready and willing to service your unit.

    I am rejecting this response because: We can’t move forward if Daystar/ ***** does not address the initial complaint of the failed/ careless installation on their part. The system is ready for Daystar/ ***** to retrieve at their earliest convenience. I have provided all proof/ explanations and Daystar/ ***** is still refusing to take responsibility. Making a comment saying I “slammed my door” is deceitful and unnecessary. It is sad that this company continues to make remarks that are completely uncalled-for. There is nothing else I can say or do. Thank you.
