*********************** was contacted October 2023 regarding replacement of a roof on our house at ********************************** in ******* ** met with the insurance adjuster of ********************* and a check in our names to cover the cost of roof and drywall damage repair and removal and restoration of hot water solar panels. We were getting the run around until 12/15/23 when we arrived. ****** kept lying that he had someone who was sick and will be taking panels down and putting them back. ****** destroyed the panels taking them of the roof. After trying to get them back on the roof he would not answer his phone and stopped having contact with us. We had a solar company inform us to put them back on the roof was not feasible because they were too damaged and we have to pay about $5 - $10 thousand dollars. He already received the money for the panels removal and replacement. We had to dump everything he took off the roof. I think he should repay us half of the funds for the destroyed panels which he was paid for removing and replacing if he had gotten them professionally removed. He is an untrustworthy individual and should be avoided like the plague.

Sorry for the miss understanding. We did notified along the way the process and they were on a time line to get the property done. This is only pool & water heater panels. Our contract was based on the insurance scope of work. We did completed everything accordingly. (Roof, Interior and gutters) we asked all over the place for a company that can detach the panels. No one was available until late January. Like i said they were in a time line. Im shock as they were inform along the process. They are from out of state and i handle all for them, did not lie to them and i did all to the best of my ability  to handle this. When we replace the roof i set all panels on the back and inside the garage. This is mainly PVC pipes. That were cut on the right places all it was need it for the re attach was new pipes couples and new brackets that were factored in the scope. The solar companies are usually months out for this kind of jobs and this was the case. If the clients called a new company and told them they were trash as yes they were very old but new panels were not in the scope of work. And they got a quote for new ones at that price range and they disposed them i was unaware. We had secured a Re attachment of the panels date from the solar company we use for march 20th and that was the earlier we could get and we secure that date late Jan. So we can get on a schedule. We do not control their time and schedule. And i BELIVE WE went above and beyond to  help them in this process and we handle all of this stressful process. They need it this done sooner as they have to be back home out of the state. Like i mentioned we DO Not control the third parties schedules. And we have to adjust to their times. And it was a very reasonable time 2 1/2 moths for the pool solar panels to go back up.
if they do trash the panels for being told by a company that wants to sell their product and they moved forward without any time of communication with our company we are not liable.
we still have an outstanding balance due to us of $5597.00 we willing to negotiate on that even tho we are not at fault. Please let us know how you want to proceed
