  Worst experience ever!!! These people are plain highway robbery criminals!!! Starting with the sweet girl ******** who gave an amazing estimate. Then the second call from ***** was double the cost because even though I gave precise dimensions ******* reduced everything to give a better quote. So ***** being a rude a$$ jerk. Says well, just move it yourself then! After initial deposit.. youre already screwed. So double the amount. Then the movers showed up and again said oh its more than you said youll have to pay more! I had a written list!! So triple the price now!! Upon delivery.. there was so much stuff JAMMED into the delivery truck that they could barely get our stuff out. Plastic storage totes mangled!!! Both TVs broken. Refrigerator had been laying on its side which is a horrible thing!!! So save yourself!!! Run fast and far from this company.

  Don't use this company. They operate under separate names, formerly Brite Star and now ***************. Apparently, to hide the numerous bad reviews/complaints filed against them as Brite Star. After taking your deposit, they stop responding to calls, texts and emails. They are simply a broker, not an authorized carrier, and were unable to provide any information on the name of the actual carrier and contact information. They will take your deposit and provide no delivery date or guarantee that the carrier will abide by the contract amount agreed to.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT HIRE BRIGHT STAR MOVING OR THEIR CONTRACTORS, LOADRANS. Bright Star Moving is NOT a moving a company, they are a broker, who in my case hired Loadrans LLC. As far as I'm concerned both of these companies are NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Do you like being mislead about how soon you'll see your possessions again? Do you like waiting over a month to get your things back? Do you like being given a "good faith estimate" that seems reasonable and then when the moving company hired shows up, tells you it will cost 3 times that because you did not give them an accurate inventory of your items? Do you like being given endless pages of fine print that requires a lawyer to understand and being pressured to sign that contract without even having time to read their clauses that excuse them from liability for anything, and provides "insurance" for damaged or lost items that would pay you pennies on the dollar? Do you like companies that meet 80% of the US Dept of Transportation's flags they list on their webpage, educating consumers of what to look for in scam moving companies (check it out)? Do you like not having a clear idea on where your stuff is, where it's going or when you'll get it - if ever? Do you like not having your emails, calls and texts returned when you want to get information and updates from movers? On the rare occasion you do reach someone, do you like each person you talk to being in a different state and not having answers to your questions? Do you like that person saying they can't get a hold of the person that would know, at that moment, so they say they'll find out later and call you back - but they never call you back? Do you like poor customer service with surly attitudes? Do you like companies where one hand doesn't know what the other is doing and all plans and updates are nebulous? If these seem good to you, then Bright Star and Loadrans are for you.

  The worst moving experience I have ever had. We were flat out lied to about who would be doing the moving. They told us they "were not brokers" and that they had people on both ends who would handle our move. The movers that showed up were from a job board and they charged us an additional $1550.00 after we had previously completed a full inventory. We had to be out of our house and in another state in a short amount of time, so we paid the additional costs. They charged extra erroneous fees like walking fees. The initial contact person was very nice and quick to respond until they had our money. Clearly our load was not strapped and when the driver opened the truck, we had boxes all over the back of the truck and multiple damaged items. The delivery driver then wanted to charge us an additional $300.00. Suddenly Bright Star Moving and Storage had no idea how to obtain our insurance documents that we purchased when we contracted with them. We put in a claim with the contracted movers they used and needed additional documentation from Bright Star Moving and Storage. This was requested almost 2 months ago and we can't get a response from the company. Save yourself heartache, stress, and costs by using another company. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I wish I had done more due diligence before using this trainwreck of a company!

  By Far THE WORST!! Thought to give these folk a try b/c the initial contact person had good **************** for the most part and I was in a crunch comparing prices...smh they are no where near professional whether on the phone dealing with "their customer service line-which is very limited" and has staff answering as if you were calling someones house to the worst part..they use independant drivers/crews and they find a way to low ball you for more $ Especially if they see the type of items you have when "loading the truck." They tight pack when they transfer your belongings to another truck in the warehouse, but they "struggle" for room when loading in front of you just to upyourquoteprice even more. I had (3) guys show up, spoke mostly in their language to each other. (2) worked on loading while the other kept looking at ourthings and calling "dispatch or the boss" my guess figuring how to up the price. In the worst crunch in time, we paid it and in return..they broke, stepped on, crushed a lot of our items, didnt care it was raining and ..it was just plain out a bad experience! I am still going through boxes finding things that eventhough were packed securely somehow managed to get broken! I wish I had checked their yelp review..I will be finding a way to post on ****** to save people the disappointment! Oh and while signing contract electronically, I was told they didnt offer any type of insurance reimbursement etc!" If only you could see our photos! Check on ****** too, I will be working on posting! Do not use these people! Only (2) folks had decent customer service, however, that alone could not salvage the damage they did! They even damaged my husband's SnapOn Tool box!! Those things are super pricey and durable..how do you manage to break such a thing Even After you Charge Extra to handle it??!! I honestly hope karma gets them!

  DO NOT go with this broker moving company. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Do not believe other 5 star reviews for this company-they are fake/paid for. Awful customer service, never returned my calls. Not forthcoming about cost, the movers they contract with tried to ******* me out of way more money. My TV was broken on arrival, missing pieces of furniture and broken pieces of furniture.

  worst moving company, never answered after initial payment, brokered out to horrible company that showed up and tried to strong arm me into paying nearly triple the amount quoted. I sent them away and went with another company who gave me an actual price that did not change, and even with the lost deposit that these scammers kept I still saved versus the price they tried to get out of me.

  This is by far the worst moving company I have dealt with. They lied about the day and time of pick, as well as delivery. The delivery company 365 moving and trucking company, stole and damaged items. People please do your research before using these two companies. Bright Star moving company and 364 moving and trucking company.

  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. From the moment I got an estimate from ****, nothing went smoothly. **** gave me his "direct line" and never answered that line again. Items were promised in 4-6 days and arrived 12 days later. Fragile boxes were damaged, often stacked underneath non-fragile boxes. The flatscreen TV arrived with a crack. We had a clothes rack that was destroyed. The insurance they provide is basically non-existent.The most frustrating thing is that the estimate more than doubled although the list of items to be moved hardly changed. The customer service reps were rude. This was an incredibly stressful and awful experience and I highly recommend you stay away from Bright Star.

  They are a very misleading company. They will promise you anything g to get your money. My sister signed an agreement with them online to gave them move her from ** to ***. They assured her they were not brokers and would send their own truck. The truck showed up on a different day that was agreed on abd it was a pile of junk, no identification, damaged inside to where her furniture would have been subject to the elements. It was much smaller as well to where it would have never fit all of her furniture. She refused to let them load anything! And did not trust them to try to send another truck after them lying to her. Now they are refusing to refund any of her money! She is 81 and on SS, such a hardship she has suffered by this company. Its a disgrace and all should be beware!
