      I bought a Groupon from Lowest Price Traffic School on March *** **** for the * Hour Basic Driver Improvement course. It never said anything in the fine Print on Groupon about any additional charges. Every other course I have ever bought on Groupon has been for the whole course, nothing extra needing to be paid. The moment I went to use the Groupon, this place, which guarantees that it is the lowest price (which is a lie), charges $** or so to finish enrollment in the course (something never disclosed on the groupon). Then, if you want a certificate of completion emailed to you (which most of the other similar courses all do automatically), you have to pay another $*0. They steer you away from the free mail option by putting it at the bottom of the options, saying it takes many weeks, and even having a "fun fact" that mail is often delayed. It is so coercive, misleading and Deceptive, meant to milk you of every extra dollar they can throughout the whole process. It was such an upsetting experience.

      We charge $**** for the Online * Hour Internet Traffic Course plus the $***** Florida State Assessment Fee & Processing Fee, $*.** Credit Card/Debit Card Convenience Fee for a total of $****** The Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles REQUIRES that we collect a State Assessment Fee for each person completing a BDI or TLSAE course. Assessment Fees are remitted to the Department's Highway Safety Operating Trust Fund which is used to administer the Department's programs and to fund the general operations of the Department. Providers are also required to process and submit your information to the Department, and, for BDI customers, provide a course completion certificate, as well as maintain certain course records pursuant to Florida law. Submitting your information to the Department is always free at LowestPriceTrafficSchool.com. 

      The certificate will be sent to you by USPS Standard Mail within 7-10 business days unless you choose to expedite the shipment. Expedited delivery is elective and enables you to receive your certificate electronically via email within the hour of course completion or via UPS Next-Day Delivery. There is indeed an additional fee charged by our fulfillment center to have your certificate emailed or sent to you via UPS Next Day delivery. This option is not required, it provides you the convenience of receiving it quickly. Charging a premium for a convenience is a routine business practice.

      As a courtesy, we have submitted a complimentary $***** refund for the optional expedited Email certificate delivery and $***** for  Online * Hour Internet Traffic Course to the credit/debit card. The refund should be posted on the credit/debit card within two business days. If not, we recommend you contact the credit/debit card company directly.

      I feel this company participates in deceptive advertising and charges. I signed up for traffic school through the ******************** when I paid my traffic ticket, the promoted service "lowestpricetrafficschool", was advertised for $4.95,I was billed for 3/10 for $39.25, which understandably included ******** taxes, ect, on 10/12, I was billed another $29.88 for a test re-take, also understandable and agreed to. Then I was billed another $39.95 for what they say is the email of the results-not agreed to or expected as I was in no rush for the results.-- then another bill for $14.95 for I don't know what. When I called to ask for the charges to be removed, they claimed I agreed to and chose these services.

      A search of our support box and did not find a communication from your email.  What address did you use to reach us?

      Our records indicate you reached us via our call center on September 15, 2023. We do not have a record of any contact with us prior to this date.  You did provide a citation number at the conclusion of the course therefore a certificate was not generated upon completion.  After speaking to one of our representatives we determined you were not eligible to take the 4 hour BDI course as you had taken it twice before. This was confirmed via the Palm Beach Clerk of Court Website.  You provided the citation number during this  call and we emailed a copy of the certificate to as you stated you wanted to submit the certificate to the Clerk Of Court in person.

      We have refunded all monies paid for the course as we strive for 100% customer satisfaction.  Notwithstanding these disclosures, we again sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration this experience has caused you.

      This company has charged me 9.95 dollars for months from my bank account. I can only go back three months electronically. I paid for all products and services. They have absolutely no reason to bill me. I want this company to reconcile this. I did not opt for any continuance of services or products. I will block them and report them as fraud to my bank. However this does not solve the problem of what is owed to me by this company.

      As you progress through the registration process, we offer different products to enhance your experience. Each of these products can be declined at the bottom of the page.  A review of the account for Logan Rowan indicates there were no additional products added to the account.
      There is an email delivery added to the account on March 21, 2023, based on a phone call to our call center.  As you requested, it was added at no additional charge.
      Please allow 24-48 hours for the refund to be posted to the account used for purchase.
      We take your feedback seriously as well as the matter in which our products are presented.  We hope this explanation along with the above reconciliation of your account resolves this matter to your satisfaction.

      I'm filing a complaint for a full refund safedriver.com. I believe this company scammed me of $140 dollars. I don't know what exact location their building is, but this isn't right. And I'm probably not the first person they scammed either. All I was trying to do was take the Drug and Alcohol Course. But then they added things that I didn't need or want. I'm not looking for any trouble, I just want my $140 dollars back.

      On December 10, 2022, I signed up for a driving course through this company, I paid the fee went online, and start the course during the course their website kept crashing Acosta had a log back in to try to pick up where I left off from the course as always was before four hours at around 530 in the evening I called the school back again I said look to something wrong this course as I signed up for the four-hour course and is taking longer and I explained to the agent that I signed up at 1132. And it's been done around the same time at 432 by tonic the dome of the course because the Crashing and the clock kept starting over that it took longer I contacted XFINITY my Internet service and we did speed checks and everything else and everything was working fine they even took control of my computer just make sure everything else is working fine I contacted school later explained on the problems that I was having is an opinion take a course I said kept crashing and that's not what I'm paying for the representative Isa said look you took the course you pass does nothing else I can do. I contacted my credit union and filed a dispute that I don't pay for something that happens is not my fault and then when I try to contact the company the same will get over it knowing it doesn't work like that.

      11/20/22 11/21/22. They advertise 69.85 for the drug and alcohol for Florida and dmv yet online for the learners permit. They post if you do these 2 together it saves money. What they don’t say is after you pay 69.85 the next step is how you receive your results. If you want to not pay 29.95 then you will wait 30 days to get your certificate through mail. After you pay 29.95 and you take the course you have to pay more to make sure you are sent the full information and not partial. Then more and more charges. And it is the same for the dmv test. So far we have paid over 118.00 dollars and still waiting on the final because we paid only 5.95 to have it sent to the students info. Which is actually my contact info. My son wanted to pay for this himself not realizing every step would be more money just to get the certificates and information from passing.

      Purchasing the Requirements package does represent a savings of $39.05 as opposed to purchasing the products separately.


      Shipping the certificate via USPS is included with the course.  For those customers that wish to receive their certificate quickly, we offer the email option.  This is a premium service and therefore does have a cost associated with the service.


      As a traffic school, we are required to report the results of the course and the exam to the DMV. We do not charge a fee to do this.  We do however offer a premium service to rush the results to the DMV, you purchased this optional service for $9.95. We also offer a service that will text you upon sending the results of the course and DMV exam to the DMV.  You also purchased these services for $2.95 and $5.95 respectively.  Each of these services are optional, the ‘NO THANKS’ is at the bottom of the screen that offers the service.   A screenshot example of this is attached.

      The driving school was advertised as $5.95, but before you can even start the course, you have to pay $40. On top of that, they make you pay to get your results unless you want them to arrive in 30 days, which would defeat the purpose of taking the whole driving school since they would arrive too late to take the points off of your license. Already the total is $70. Then you go through the 4 hour course and take the final exam. The questions are specifically worded to trick you. I "failed" the test (75%) and they charge you $30 per test retake. It's an absolute scam, I'd rather take the points on my license than give these scammers $100 of my money.

      We offer expedited shipping options for those that may be close to their deadline.  Your ticket was issued in Citrus County Florida. Citrus County allows 30 days to elect traffic school and an additional 60 days to submit your certificate to the County Clerk of Court.  This is a total of 90 days to complete the course and turn the certificate in to the court.


      The final exam is an ‘open book’ exam.  The syllabus is accessible at all times to make review of the course materials easy and convenient in the event the student my need clarification. The questions are designed for retention of the material. 

      In order to receive the certificate of completion the final exam must be taken and passed.  You first attempt to pass the test was not successful.  As a courtesy, we have added a complementary final exam to your account.  Upon successful completion of the exam the certificate of completion will be sent to the email address on file, ************************.

      The site advertises the lowest price and posts a price of 5.94. Initially, you are made to pay this amount and your credit card info is taken. Then they reveal over the next few pages that there is additional assessment fees, credit card fees, fees to deliver via email, rush processing fees. It is obviously a bait and switch since they advertise one price and hide the actual costs for services until after the card has already been processed. There is no way to cancel the process once all the additional fees are revealed.
