When buying a house I feel like you are going to be told everything you want to hear from everyone during the process to get you to the closing table. No one will Make any money unless you sign those papers.
This is what makes having the right home inspector so important. My inspection was set up through my realtors office and I made it a point to arrive unannounced to check the process.
When I arrived 30 minutes late I found James in the house diligently making his way room to room checking on everything that you and I wouldn't think to check. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Also explained what was a major issue or what is merely cosmetic.
This is truly the only time during the house buying process that I felt I am not just being told what I want to hear in order to get to the next step in the buying process.
His report was thorough, impartial and easy to read and understand. I thought the price might have been a little high but with inflation rates under this administration you have to expect everything is costing a little more.POMI Services
