Naples Vacations violated their short term renal agreement with us by allowing pool contractors access to the property without notifying us ahead of time. We rented a vacation home from Naples Vacations located at *************************************************************************************************** from 1/27/24 - 2/2/24 The ACCESS clause of our short term rental agreement with Naples Vacations states we were were to be provided with 2 hours verbal notice for others to access the property during reasonable times for any purposes connected with the repair, improvement, care, and management of the Premises, including the showing of the residence to prospective Guests or buyers. On 2/1/2024, we returned from the beach on our last day of vacation, and found a pool construction team cutting travertine stone spewing dust all over the pool area, our towels, and bathing suits. When we reserved this house, Naples Vacations had us sign a short term rental agreement which clearly states we were to be notified about anyone needing access to the home during our stay. We were never notified about the pool company coming by to cut stone while we were at this home and this project could have been done the next day after we departed. The Naples Vacations manager ************************* claimed that neither he or the homeowner were aware of the pool construction happening that day despite the work order that was pending, and unfortunately this was a violation of the short term rental agreement. He offered us a refund, however we have received no such compensation to date.
